Hi I am selling my 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo 6 speed manual, I purchased this car few years ago and its been amazing
to me. This is a great example of a clean 996 Turbo that has been cared for. Just recently 600 miles ago I had new
spark plugs, coil packs, oil change, fuel filter replaced. During that time we changed out the expansion tank and
installed new motor mounts since they had to be removed for the expansion tank replacement. Wheels and tires where
installed end of 2016 and have 1,700 miles they are almost new. Front brakes where serviced last summer with new
pads and rotors. Currently I have Kline exhaust with X50 tips and 100 cell cats, the exhaust is very mellow with
zero drone. I have the oem original full stock exhaust that I will include with the sale or I can install it back
on the car for the new owner. I also have stock rear spoiler, radio, I do not have stock wheels. Everything works;
all the windows, locks, ac / heater, rear spoiler is fully functional and radio. Clean California title with 53k
original miles. Original Porsche book, tool kit and spare tire is all in the trunk.
The car runs great with zero issues, ac blows cold and transmission shifts very smooth.

Porsche Cayman gets a new face
Fri, 12 Sep 2014We've already seen photos of the facelifted Porsche Boxster out testing, but we're now seeing these same changes making their way onto the hardtop Cayman coupe. Cosmetically, the next round of Porsche's smallest sports cars isn't vastly different, with redesigned headlamps, LED running lights (like its big brother, the 911), and new taillamps that actually aren't visible on the prototype seen here.
The big news for the updated Boxster/Cayman range is the long-rumored four-cylinder engine. Recent reports suggest we could see four-pots with displacements of 1.6, 2.0, or 2.5 liters, and with output ratings as high as 360 horsepower. Of course, these new four-cylinder mills would be both turbocharged and direct-injected.
It's unclear whether or not the six-cylinder engine range will also be updated when this new Cayman comes to market. In any case, we expect to see it bow in the relatively near future. Stay tuned.
The pre-race and first in-race report from Le Mans
Sat, 22 Jun 2013The 2013, 90th anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has begun, tragedy marking the opening laps with the death of Allan Simonsen. We're at the track now as a guest of Audi and plan to stay through the evening, and even we haven't been able to find out what caused the accident - the only video is from just after the incident, and beyond the statement from ACO there's been no more news. The Aston Martin in the LM GTE Am class and its all-Danish drivers had taken pole in its class and was one of the favorites to win.
The pre-race report will come first, and even thought we can't spoil the race because we're only five hours into it at the time of writing, we'll put all of the news at the end in case you don't even want the updates.
Or you can go straight to the high-res galleries above.
CEO says Volkswagen's buying spree is over
Mon, 03 Sep 2012
After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.
