You are looking at this very nice and extremely well maintained Porsche Carrera 996 Model.  I have had and enjoyed this car for 4 years now, and with some house renovations, business changes and other life changes, the third car must go.  Oil changes has always been done at about 4,000 KM and has never endured any harsh driving such as burnouts or donuts nor has it been driven in any reckless manner.  Always garage kept for the winter and on rainy days.

Brand New tires with less than 300 Miles on them, I had ordered these tires in June and had them in storage until I installed them last week.

BRAND NEW OEM Mags from Porsche that cost me over $4,000 last year.  I changed them because I did not like the look of the 2000 OEM Porsche wheels... these wheels are from the 2004 model and make the car look so much better !  The Originals will come with the car as spares.

Water Pump, Thermostat and all belts has been changed before winter storage last year.  The Crank Sensor has also been replaced at the same time as a preventive maintenance, as I heard that these models are bod for these, so This $500 job has been done.  A/C Blows cold and has no issue.  Sunroof works like new and all the console buttons work as it came out of the factory..  There are no oil leaks in the driveway and there are no signs of any oil leak for this car.

Oil / Air Separator (Big Job on these models) has been done from Porsche dealership last year. ( I have the $1600 Invoice for this job)

** K&N Air Intake system (Not COLD AIR)

** The only thing this car needs is a MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor) which can be bought online for about $250 or from a dealer for $750.  I noticed this issue when an oil change was done last week before bringing it for winter storage and the mechanic told me about it.

Porsche 911 Carrera Arctic Silver over blue full leather interior.

This Porsche is loaded with all the very desirable factory options including: Full Leather interior (don't even consider to own a 996 without the full leather option. without it the door panels and dash look like they were taken from a Kia.)Litronic headlights (what Porsche calls their self leveling HID/xenon headlamp. It costs about $2,000 to add these to most of the 996s that were not optioned with them) Sport package with 3 spoke steering wheel and silver crest

Tiptronic transmission and Some exclusive program options such as the exhaust tips and 'Carrera' door sill plates OEM Porsche Euro clear/smoked lenses all the way around Last year I had a top of the line Pioneer Avic Z130BT head unit installed with JL audio amplifier and components. The install looks completely factory. This headunit has built in GPS (which is very extensive), connects to your phone via bluetooth for handsfree calling (it will interrupt the music when you receive a call), it also streams music from your iphone right from your pocket wirelessly via bluetooth. There is also an ipod connection and you can play movies or music videos through your iphone/ipod. It has HD radio built in and you can also stream music from Pandora and other similar apps. It is an incredible unit that does some many things, I haven't even figured out all the functions yet. I spent over $2,000 having this installed !

This car has been it was always garaged. It is extremely reliable. The mileage is mostly highway. In fact I just drove it from Canada to Houston then Then Chicago and back this summer. To my knowledge, the only paint work that has been done was a respray of the front bumper (due to some scuffing from steep driveways and curbs and to fill the front license plate holes). I had this done at the Porsche recommended body shop at a cost of over $800. Windows professionally tinted. The car looks, runs, and drives like a brand new one. You could not find anything wrong with it. I am an obsessive-compulsive owner/collector and the condition of my cars reflect this.

I have a few videos of this beauty and over 60 pictures … please view all of this at this location

Michael Jordan's cars showcased in 'The Last Dance' documentary

Sun, May 10 2020

After the masses begged and pleaded for an early release, ESPN finally unlocked the doors to the biggest production in company history last month. Episodes 1 and 2 of The Last Dance, a 10-part documentary special about Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls, and the 1997-1998 season, was released at last on April 19, 2020. Each week since, two new episodes have aired on Sunday nights, and the next two, episodes 7 and 8 are scheduled to drop this weekend on May 10. With unprecedented video access to MJ, who became averse to the media during his playing days, a byproduct from The Last Dance is a look at some of Jordan's cars. The Goat's taste ranges across a number of brands, but they all had one thing in common: performance as a top priority. Below, we have listed the rides that have already appeared in the series, and each week, we will update with new car cameos. Chevrolet Corvette C4 The photo above somewhat epitomizes one of the themes of The Last Dance. Everybody, whether that was men, women, children, franchise owners, reporters, coaches, teammates, or opponents, wanted a piece of Jordan. If that meant stopping in the middle of the road to get an autograph, then so be it. Around town, MJ was fairly easy to spot due to his flashy cars that occasionally wore Bulls red. Jordan has driven numerous Corvettes throughout the years, but the C4 is unique in that it was Chevy's top ride when Jordan signed an endorsement deal with the American company during his rookie year in 1984. Two famous photos, one in front of the Chicago skyline, show him standing next to a C4 with the license plate "Jump 23." This exact car, however, came later, as indicated by the squared-off taillights. He went on to star in a number of Chevrolet commercials with vehicles such as the Blazer and S-10 pickup truck. Chevrolet Corvette C5 The most notable Corvette His Airness ever owned was likely the C4 40th Anniversary ZR-1, but he also drove a C5 coupe at one point. Roughly nine minutes into the first episode, Jordan is seen driving the chrome-wheeled targa top into the parking lot at the Berto Center, the Bulls old practice facility.   Ferrari 550 Maranello Roughly three minutes into episode four, viewers get a glimpse of Jordan's exotic taste in the form of a red Ferrari 550 Maranello.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS vs. Mercedes SLS AMG Black in battle of who can shred more rubber

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

We might be looking at the end of an era in European performance models. Mercedes-Benz is doing away with the SLS in favor of a rumored smaller and cheaper SLC, and Porsche has said that a new 911 GT2 isn't necessarily a sure thing, which means another 911 GT2 RS is even farther away. In its latest video, Evo's Jethro Bovingdon pits the ultimate versions of these German sports coupes against each other and finds two of the fastest cars the magazine has ever lapped around its track.
In one corner, there is the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series that sits as the pinnacle of the company's halo model. It relies on the classic setup of a V8 mounted in front powering the rear wheels. On the other side, there is the 911 GT2 RS with a turbocharged flat-six mounted at the back, spinning the rear wheels. It was conceived to be Porsche's ultimate expression of a turbocharged 911, and while it's a few years old, Bovingdon shows that it's up to the task of racing a more modern rival.
Both of these rear-wheel-drive monsters are more than capable of some fantastically smoky power-slides, but they also show how great the last generation of sports cars was. Scroll down to check out the video.

Porsche bringing Macan S Diesel to US instead of 4-cylinder [w/poll]

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

When Porsche unveiled the new Macan at the LA Auto Show, it announced two powerplants for the US market, both of them twin-turbo V6s: the Macan S equipped with 340 horsepower from its 3.0-liter engine, and the Macan Turbo with 400 horses from 3.6 liters. But those aren't the only engines Porsche will offer in its new compact crossover. Porsche is also offering the Macan S Diesel overseas with 258 hp, and reports have since indicated that a pair of four-cylinder models on their way: a 2.0-liter turbo four with 280 hp and four-pot turbodiesel of the same capacity with an as-yet undisclosed output.
Now Car and Driver is reporting that while those four-cylinder engines won't be making the transatlantic voyage to our shores, Porsche will offer the aforementioned Macan S Diesel in North America beginning in early 2015, nearly a year after the gas V6 versions arrive.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is based on the same engine found in the Cayenne Diesel and the Audi Q5 TDI on which the Macan is based. Of course, its 248 hp is substantially less than the 340 ponies in the Macan S, but its 413 pound-feet of torque outshines not only the 339 lb-ft in the Macan S but also the 406 lb-ft in the Macan Turbo. Acceleration times, however, suggest the Macan S Diesel is still slower, with a 6.3-second run to 62 mph than neither the Macan S (5.4 sec) or Macan Turbo (4.8). The good news is that the Macan S Diesel is tipped to undercut the price of both, dropping the oil-burning crossover's MSRP below that of the $49,900 starting price for the Macan S and the $49,600 for the base Cayenne. If that C/D prediction comes to pass, that will make it the Macan S Diesel most affordable Porsche sold.
