Arctic Silver with Black in this very well maintained factory Aerokit coupe. The Aerokit option (a very expensive option at that!) gave the appearance of the period GT3, a great looking car from any angle. This particular car is made quite special by the additional factory options of the Sport Classic Wheels (each in beautiful condition), 3 spoke wheel and Sport Seats. This car became even more special over time as the mileage was kept to a very, very low 33k and the condition was kept to a very high standard. The end result is a spectacular looking, low mileage C4 coupe in outstanding condition in all aspects. Additional options include door entries in stainless, heated seats, Xenons and washers, and instrument dials in aluminum look. Post factory enhancements include a Pioneer sound system with navigation, iPod connection and built in radar. All great stuff but the real highlight of any 911 is the drive and that is yet another area where this car excels. It drives perfectly and rewards the driver with pure exhilaration. In current ownership for the past 8 years and with a clean carfax, this is as nice as they come. This Porsche is offered for sale under our Weissach Autohaus' Broker Services Program allowing a privately owned Porsche to be sold by Weissach Autohaus on behalf of its owner. Porsche slathers Martini livery on 911, Panamera, Macan and Cayenne
Mon, 20 Oct 2014This is how we imagine the conversation went in Porsche's Stuttgart headquarters: "Martini livery. Martini livery all the things." Okay, so maybe not, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from showing off images of its entire lineup bearing the iconic racing livery.
While we aren't sure about the questionably yellow 911 and lime green Macan, the navy blue Cayenne and the white Panamera both look pretty spectacular as they lap about the streets of Sochi, Russia.
As for why the liveried sports cars and crossovers were at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we aren't totally sure. Porsche's Facebook page, where the images first popped up, was really light on details. Whatever the reason, we fully support Porsche doing more with Martini livery. Take a look at the full gallery to see what we mean.
Proof the world revolves around the Porsche Cayman
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Or at least the world revolves underneath the Porsche Cayman, in the latest video showing off Stuttgart's mid-engine coupe. Porsche put an Easter egg in the world that spins triple-time, a "famous relative" of the Cayman hidden somewhere on the marble planet, and gave a Porsche Martini bag to one of the first 50 people who could point it out.
With more than 300 views there's no chance you'll win the bag, but you can still go on the treasure hunt in the video below.
Chris Harris condemns demonization of Porsche Carrera GT in wake of Walker death
Fri, 06 Dec 2013When something bad happens, it's easy to resort to scapegoating. At least for some of us, that seems to be exactly what has happened following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas, who were killed on November 30 in a Porsche Carrera GT. Even though officials have not yet determined the cause of the crash, that isn't stopping many theories from being put for - theories that include blaming the Porsche supercar. Rather predictably, not only is the CGT's difficult nature getting examined, but indeed, the nature of all high-performance cars is being put under the public's microscope, with some wondering what the need for all the power is.
A Google search of "Porsche Carrera GT" will find no shortage of articles about the razor-sharp handling and outright speed of the CGT. Pistonheads' Chris Harris has a different, insightful take on both the Carrera GT and the nature of all fast cars. He reflects on the matter, ironically, en route to drive the successor to the car that killed Walker and Rodas, the 900-horsepower 918 Spyder hybrid supercar.
We think it's well worth a read, as it makes a number of good points about modern high-performance automobiles and the way they're used. Click over and take a look.
