This is a nice 911 that i drive a several times a month. I just did a spring tune up new triple platinum plugs., new Bosch fuel filter, air filter ,two Bosch o2 sensors, fresh 15-50 Valvoline synthetic oil for the summer and filter. Tire have plenty of miles left on them, AC blows cold, Engine is quiet. No oil leaks.Gages work Tiptronic is 100% on my Porsche scan tester( no slippage) Shifts great. It looks like the previous owner had done some paint work on the left quarter it is presentable. There is a small dent on top of the left front fender and does not stand out. There are some scratches around the car and a little blotch by the left door handle There is some wheel rash from use.. Over all it looks good. It is not perfect.I used it and it did not sit in the garage. Vehicle is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. JW

2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S
Fri, 19 Jul 2013I don't care who you are; when a new Porsche 911 rolls up in your driveway, that's a pretty good day. This was my very first experience with Porsche's 991 911, and after having spent time with just about every tune and trim of the last car, I was hotly anticipating comparing and contrasting.
Somehow (I don't remember sending out any cash-filled, unmarked envelopes) I'd scored a week in the 911 Carrera 4S over a long holiday weekend, too. That meant that I'd get to A) log a ton of miles in one of the best cars in the world, B) get to show-off the Porsche to family and friends and C) tempt cops in three states to pull me over. Good thing I've got the Autoblog traffic lawyer on speed dial...

2014 Porsche 911 Targa
Tue, 15 Apr 2014I've watched the electro-hydraulic roof panel open and close about 73 times in the past hour, but its fascinatingly complicated operation still has me mesmerized. I've concluded that only a German automaker - Porsche, to be more specific - would go through the trouble of engineering a roof system that essentially lifts the entire greenhouse off a vehicle, rearranges its components like a sliding-tile puzzle, and then reassembles all of them seamlessly (sans roof panel) to accurately recreate one of its most famed bodystyles.
The 2014 Porsche 911 Targa is a near-perfect modern interpretation of the automaker's 1965 911 Targa, a semi-convertible bodystyle that represents nearly 13 percent of all 911 models sold since production started 50 years ago. While the early car's roof was purely manual in operation - that's the period-correct way of saying that the driver did all of the muscle work - today's Targa is a completely automated transformation that requires only that the driver hold down a cabin-mounted switch for a mere 19 seconds to let the captivating show run its course.
After studying the Targa's elaborate roof operation at its launch at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, I was sufficiently intrigued. To that end, I traveled one-third of the way around the planet to southern Italy, hoping that the Mediterranean climate would reveal a bit more about the reintroduction of the automaker's iconic sports car.
Porsche digitally dissects its 918 Spyder for your viewing pleasure
Wed, 02 Oct 2013At this point, you'd think we'd know all there is to know about the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder - except what it's like to drive - but Porsche has released a new video giving us a more in-depth look at its new plug-in hypercar all the same. The animated video gives us numerous cutaway looks at the 918 Spyder while giving a visual demonstration of the car's four hybrid driving modes.
Though nowhere near as exciting as watching the 918 blast around the Nürburgring in record time, this new video is nonetheless both interesting and informative. Scroll down to watch the video yourself, and be sure to check out our live gallery of the production version of the car along with a stock gallery.
