**Just some fun facts** 1. To all the other dealers and individuals that "watch" the auction to see what this car will sell for.... I'm just saying "Hello"! 2. When abusing..... oh, I mean using the offer option, think of the response you'll get before you make the offer. If you never purchased a vehicle in your lifetime, ever, you'll be quickly educated. If you have, my response shouldn't be a surprise to you then. Only after you check all the car pricing guides/tools available online, make an offer. The offer needs to be somewhere around 5% - 10% less than the listed price. Those who offer half the listed price will be reported to eBay and you will not be able to bid on vehicles... unless you sign up for a new eBay account (lose all your feedback, etc), but who really wants to do that?? 3. The "Buy It Now" price is designed for that person who knows this is the car they want and they don't want to lose it before someone else buys it. People who understand the waste of time and money it takes to look at 100 cars over a period of 6 months know that it's worth paying extra to get exactly what they want and when they want it. 4. Come and see this beautiful Porsche. It is in the right color combination, especially because the top is black and it doesn't show any wear like the lighter colors do. Runs and Drives perfect. Ice Cold A/C too. The 6-Speed manual transmission and clutch shift perfectly with no noises or clunking. Take avantage of the All-Wheel-Drive system for amazing handling and cornering. This Porsche only has 71k miles on it and it has been well kept. The silver paint is very glossy and there is no rust on the body anywhere. Everything works and is clean. The car comes with floor mats, spare tire and jack. There is no damage on the vehicle other than a small spot on the bottom of the left-side rear bumper, which you barely see (This is what is noted in the Carfax report, so don't panic!). The rest of the body is mint with no dents, dings or scratches. The leather interior is very clean and basically like new. No rips on the seats and the driver's side seat bolster is not torn up like most others. This car has the FULL Leather Interior, which is optional. The Seats, Dash, Doors, and Trim are all Leather. This car was garage kept and it shows all around. The passenger seat doesn't even look like someone sat in it. Please see the pictures. All the windows open and close smoothly and quietly. Porsche celebrates Le Mans return with Martini edition 911
Tue, 10 Jun 2014If we've said it once, we've said it a hundred times - but we'll gladly say it again: there are few racing liveries as iconic as Martini. And while those stripes have adorned countless Lancia and Ford rally cars, grand prix racers (like the latest Williams) and even speedboats, they remain inexorably tied to Porsche. Fortunately that point is not lost on Porsche itself, which has lately put them on its own 918 Spyder, race-spec 911 and all manner of merchandise. And this is the latest.
To celebrate its return to Le Mans this year, Porsche Exclusive is offering this special Martini Racing Edition. It's based on the 911 Carrera S, which means the more potent 3.8-liter flat six with 400 horsepower, but upgrades, as you might have guessed, with a whole mess of Martini Racing stripes and logos, along with the Aerokit Cup front and rear spoilers. The badges and stripes abound inside as well, where you'll also find such optional extras as the Porsche Communication Management system, Bose audio and black leather electric sport seats.
Porsche is offering the 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition in either white or black, but unfortunately not in our market - just in Europe, China and Latin America. Those who miss out will (in certain markets anyway) be able to order the decal set separately though. Feel free to read more in the press release below.
Porsche Cayenne diesel V8 may not be long for this world
Fri, Jan 23 2015Goodbye, Porsche Cayenne V8 Diesel. We hardly knew ye. Nor did the Europeans, apparently. Porsche's V8 oil burner is still on the European model list for the Cayenne SUV, but the mill won't go through the likely pricey process of being updated to adhere to new and stricter European emissions standards, Just-Auto says. A Porsche spokesman confirmed to the publication that it's a fairly complicated process to update the diesel V8 to be so-called "Euro-6 compliant." With Cayenne diesels selling in relatively low volumes anyways, the German automaker might just dump the V8 diesel altogether, as it'd be quite cost-ineffective to make the necessary upgrades. The V8 diesel was a 4.1-liter engine that delivered 385 horsepower in addition to what sounds like a little too much exhaust for European clean-air regulators. While that's a pretty powerful profile, the most recent gas-powered V8 for the Cayenne delivers about 570 horsepower, so the diesel engine won't likely be missed by European auto enthusiasts. Besides, there's still the V6 diesel that's also sold in the US. That's a 4,800-pound beast that moves from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about seven seconds and gets a relatively (for diesels) modest 20 miles per gallon city. Daughter has great taste, gives stepdad Porsche 914 of his youth

Whether it's the time to watch a baseball game or the money just to get there, parents have to give up something for the betterment of their offspring. Of course, once a child grows up, it's finally possible to repay mom and dad for all of their hard work. In the case of Kristin Russell and her stepdad, Dave, that involves a surprise 1973 Porsche 914.
Before he got married, Dave had a sweet, white 914. He even had the money saved up to restore it, but spent the cash on the wedding instead. The Porsche languished in the garage until Dave eventually parted it out and sold it off. Years later, Russell wanted to do something to thank her stepdad for all of the things he had done for her and her mom. The only fitting thank you was an identical 914 to the one that he gave up.
