This the last year year of the air cooled Porsche, white and black, Good to Very Good Condition, I have owned the car for several years and a couple of the Car Fax owners are myself and companies that I Own so its actual number of owners is probably 3 or 4 total.

The car has the Bilstein PSS10 fully adjustable suspension system that cost nearly $7,000 to put in.

The right side passenger door has one ding and the drivers seat bolster on the upper back is in need of replacement.  The car is very reliable and I used to it commute by freeway.  I have run out of garage space due kids approaching 16.

The Root Wood Gear Shift Knob has a small Crack in it that was there when I bought it.

Also has a relatively rare optional rear wiper

the 1997 has the small light above the ignition key.

I have had multiple offers in the low 30's but I need to get on with it.  I have some receipts but not all.  The windshield has been recently changed due to rock chips.

Recent New Tail Lights in European Style Orange Turns with Red Stops, looks cool.

Car Cover Included, Owners Manual, Tools, Spare Tire and Air Compressor

CEO says Volkswagen's buying spree is over

Mon, 03 Sep 2012

After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.

Preserving automotive history costs big bucks

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.

Why you must buy an air-cooled Porsche 911 now

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

"Because" might be a good response to our headline, but as a vintage (purists might call 'proper') Porsche 911 is hardly cheap, we suspect you'll need a better explanation than that. Enter Drive editor Mike Spinelli.
Spinelli sits down with Zac Moseley and Mick Prichinello from Classic Car Club Manhattan to first explain why the market for old, air-cooled 911s has gotten so hot over the past few years, and to discuss if it's a bubble that's about to burst. Following that, this video is really is just three guys sitting around talking about old Porsches for 35 minutes. Which, you know, we're pretty onboard with.
