Up for sale Beautiful 1991 Porsche Targa C2 911/964. They are only been produce 3,534 of C2 Targa's. This Porsche is 100% original without any modification and no sign of re-paint or accidents. Very nice grand Prix White exterior and dark gray interior. The Porsche comes with upgraded CD player and iPod connection and upgraded speakers, owner manual and two ignition keys, not much service records on this car. The paint and body on the Porsche is in very good shape with no door dents, only few micro scratches on the car and some rock chips. The interior is in good shape only the driver side seats are showing some wear. In the front panel by the windshield and right wiper there is two spots of touch up paint, one is inch long and second is two inches long. Also on the back right quarter panel there is a small scratch and  on same side  the bumper corner has a small scratch as well,  I can send a picture by request.  That is only the biggest issues  the I see it. The car started write up without any problems the engine is very quiet and sounds strong. There is an oil leak, it leaks in the back of the left side I believe is coming from the cam chain cover. The transmission is shifting and the clutch is in very good shape it’s not sleeping. I don't know when the clutch was replaced like I said I don't have service records on the car. The brakes on the car are good just replace the rear ones. The wheels are in good shape with no big scratches and the tires are not so good will probably needs to be replaced soon. The Targa roof is very good with no rips or tears on the outside and it does not leak, but the car is always garage so I am not sure if it will stay outside for a longer time what would be. On the inside of the roof there is a small hole on the headliner not all the way through the roof, see the pictures details. All of the electrical is working and Air conditioning  working but not like on 2013 cars.
I had described the Porsche the best of my knowledge. The car is sold as is without any warranties.  You are welcome to do a pre-purchase inspection before you place a bid on the Porsche or before the auction ends. No pre-purchase inspection after the auction ended. I will not release the car or the title until the funds are cleared thru my financial institution or cash in person. The car is located in Portland, OR if there is buyer will decide to fly in, I can pick-up the person from PDX airport. Autocar pits Porsche 911 Turbo S against Formula 4 racer

There is a long-running argument among performance car fans: power vs. weight. In one corner you get cars generally with small engines making modest numbers but able to corner like they are telepathic, and in the other there are big thumping mills that are rocketships in a straight line but lumber in the turns. Autocar takes an interesting look this continuum in a recent video pitting a 552-hp Porsche 911 Turbo S against a 185-hp Formula 4 racecar. It hopes to find whether the Porsche's huge power advantage is enough to defeat the better grip and aero offered by the nimble racer.
There's no doubt that the Porsche is an utterly fantastic road car. The 911 Turbo looks mean with all of those intakes to suck in cool air, and it backs up the posture with huge amounts of grip available thanks to its all-wheel drive-system. However, at 3,538 pounds, it's a bit of a porker compared to the 1,135-pound Formula 4 car. The open-wheel car boasts just a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder from Ford and a six-speed sequential-manual gearbox, but it has loads of downforce to make up for it.
It shouldn't be a surprise that the formula car wins in the corners. After all, that's what it's made for. 2015 Porsche 911 GTS widens your rear-engined choices

"Porsche needs to offer more versions of the 911" is not a phrase you'll hear uttered often. Not with 15 versions already in the catalog. But with the opening of this year's LA Auto Show, Porsche has introduced four more to bring the total up to nineteen variants. And more are no doubt on the way. What you're looking at is the new Porsche 911 GTS, which has grown from one model in the previous generation to four. Buyers will be able to choose between rear- or all-wheel drive and between coupe and cabriolet body-styles, but either way they'll be looking at a 3.8-liter flat six with 430 horsepower. That slots it in between the base Carrera and the GT3, but unlike the hardcore latter, it can be had with choice of manual or dual-clutch transmission – bringing the available configurations of 911 GTS up to eight. Spec the DCT and you'll be reaching 60 in as little as 3.8 seconds, but the pleasure won't come cheap: prices range from $114,200 for the rear-drive coupe to $132,800 for the all-wheel-drive cabrio, plus another $995 for delivery. But for that much scratch you also get the Powerkit, Sport Chrono package, wider track, lower suspension, Xenon headlamps, Alcantara trim, 20-inch alloys and more all thrown in as standard.

Porsche bringing Macan S Diesel to US instead of 4-cylinder [w/poll]

When Porsche unveiled the new Macan at the LA Auto Show, it announced two powerplants for the US market, both of them twin-turbo V6s: the Macan S equipped with 340 horsepower from its 3.0-liter engine, and the Macan Turbo with 400 horses from 3.6 liters. But those aren't the only engines Porsche will offer in its new compact crossover. Porsche is also offering the Macan S Diesel overseas with 258 hp, and reports have since indicated that a pair of four-cylinder models on their way: a 2.0-liter turbo four with 280 hp and four-pot turbodiesel of the same capacity with an as-yet undisclosed output.
Now Car and Driver is reporting that while those four-cylinder engines won't be making the transatlantic voyage to our shores, Porsche will offer the aforementioned Macan S Diesel in North America beginning in early 2015, nearly a year after the gas V6 versions arrive.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is based on the same engine found in the Cayenne Diesel and the Audi Q5 TDI on which the Macan is based. Of course, its 248 hp is substantially less than the 340 ponies in the Macan S, but its 413 pound-feet of torque outshines not only the 339 lb-ft in the Macan S but also the 406 lb-ft in the Macan Turbo. Acceleration times, however, suggest the Macan S Diesel is still slower, with a 6.3-second run to 62 mph than neither the Macan S (5.4 sec) or Macan Turbo (4.8). The good news is that the Macan S Diesel is tipped to undercut the price of both, dropping the oil-burning crossover's MSRP below that of the $49,900 starting price for the Macan S and the $49,600 for the base Cayenne. If that C/D prediction comes to pass, that will make it the Macan S Diesel most affordable Porsche sold.
