What a car ! 1988 Porsche 911 convertible with Carrera body kit. Cosmetically she will deserve some attention due to her age, a good color sanding and a professionally buffing will give her the shine of her first years, plus a few details and touch up needed here and there, but what you have here is a GREAT daily driver too and honestly the car looks really good !
Mechanically the car is just running amazingly well, engine is super responsive, shifting is smooth and it seems than she just wants to fly, the brakes are excellent and the steering firm and just like any Porsche, the handling is perfect !
All the interior was redone a few years ago with brown and black leather and a powerful stereo was installed. The roof, electric, is folding and unfolding with no issues in a few seconds.
Salvaged title due to a thief recovery but NO damages at all, car is straight and is driving straight !
Maybe not a Porsche for the purists, but definitely a GOOD Porsche ! What a fun car !

Audi RS7 vs. Porsche Panamera Turbo, which would you pick? [w/poll]

Two of the finest are the Audi RS7 and the refreshed Porsche Panamera Turbo, and Motor Trend has been messing around with the both of them in this comparison video.
MT provides a comprehensive and entertaining look at the RS7 and the turbocharged Panamera as they go through a battery of tests, before getting tossed about on both the road and the track. Starring flip-flop aficionado Jonny Lieberman, it's a must-watch, whether you're in the market for one of the two super sedans or merely want to see the former Autoblog editor again.

Mark Webber treats Maria Sharapova to a Porsche 918 Spyder joyride
Tue, 29 Apr 2014We don't much like Mark Webber right now. Part of being a racing driver is dealing with promotional stuff. It's not hard to find a driver that can't stand all this nonsense, whether it be promoting a product, meeting investors or attending some obscure event. Even a driver of Webber's caliber - a former Formula One driver for Red Bull Racing and a member of Porsche's factory Le Mans team - has to serve his time at the promo events.
Somehow, though, we don't think the Aussie driver minds this particular promo detail. In the video below, Webber attends the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. He then takes tennis superstar Maria Sharapova out for a spin behind the wheel of the Porsche 918 Spyder. The level of jealousy at the Autoblog office is palpable.

Porsche planning new 911 Speedster as 550 tribute
Tue, 12 Nov 2013Some look at the emergence of a new Porsche 911 and see a car. But to Porsche engineers, it might as well be a reset button. Because every time a new 911 comes out, it sets off a tidal wave of new variants to follow, including convertibles, turbos, targas, GT3s... the works.
The next down the pipeline, though, could be one of the most desirable. That, according to German publication Auto Bild, will be a new 911 Speedster. When it arrives early in 2015, the special roadster will reportedly be limited to just 550 examples in tribute to the original 550 Spyder.
It'll reportedly have hidden door handles, a chopped-down windshield and a fabric top to be used only in case of emergency, manually disappearing below a carbon-fiber cowling. All of which makes it sounds as much like a bigger version of the Boxster Spyder as a successor to the last 911 Speedster (pictured above), and that's no bad thing at all.
