This Carrera can be used on the track or daily use. I am a perfectionist and have done a lot of work on the car
since I bought it 3 years ago. Has 99700 miles(true mileage unknown since I had to rebuild the odometer 3 years
ago), has been cared for by Dan Cleary at The Werkshop in Melbourne, FL for the last 13 years and have all the
receipts. The AC compressor has been removed to reduce weight but still has a heater and the hoses. It has been
lowered, has adjustable Bogie shocks, bolt on DAS rollbar with Sabelt 5 point harness and the regular seatbelt,
Billy Boat exhaust, Sparco race seats(one narrow, one medium) in mint condition, new lightweight carpet, new
headliner, RS door panels with leather pulls, fire extinguisher, custom floor mats, new steering rack, new Momo
steering wheel, painted instrument panel, new paint including the front trunk(no carpet), underside of front trunk
lid and underside of engine lid, Rebuilt front calipers, vented brakes, sunroof delete option. Has an extra set of
gold BBS wheels with new tires. New clutch with light flywheel in 2012, new ball joints, urethane bushings. Drives
incredible, steering feel is superb. Must see and drive.

GoPro checks out Tokyo's automotive night life in 4K
Thu, Nov 6 2014There's something bizarrely fascinating about Japanese car culture, especially around Tokyo. The metropolis packs people tightly together in a way that would seem to make owning any car tough. And yet, there's still enough enthusiasm around anything with an engine to support everything from wildly tuned bosozoku rides with exhaust pipes reaching toward the sky to seriously fast Porsche and Lamborghini models. To promote its latest Hero4 camera, GoPro has embarked on a short film series called Adventure of Life in 4K, and the latest installment goes inside Japan's speed scene with some gorgeous cinematography of vibrant vehicles rocketing through the city. It's all mixed over more serene images of Tokyo landscapes that combine to form a mini-documentary that's a feast for the eyes. Porsche working on turbo V12 for Putin limo project?
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Porsche is best known for building very well-regarded sports cars and better-selling utility vehicles. Come to the company with a big enough bag of cash, though, and the Porsche Engineering division can create just about anything. The group's past projects include working with Harley-Davidson, Mercedes-Benz and corporate cousin Audi, but if rumors prove true, then its latest partner might be the last one you'd expect.
Russian website Wroom reports that Porsche Engineering is building the engine for the Project Cortege government limousine project for Russian president Vladimir Putin. The mill is supposedly a turbocharged V12 displacing between 6.0- and 6.6-liters and making around 800 horsepower. When complete, it will reportedly be built by ZMZ with Russian-sourced parts.
The limo is expected to debut in 2017, according to Wroom, but it's just the beginning of Putin's grandiose plans, which also goes by the name of the Motorcade Project. The same platform is also meant to underpin several vehicles for use by the government, including an SUV, a small bus and a sedan. All of them would reportedly have a longitudinally mounted engine and all-wheel drive.
Watch Carrera Cup driver Connor de Phillippi's first lap of the N"urburgring
Thu, 23 May 2013American race driver Connor de Phillippi was recently added to the roster of Porsche Juniors, the arm of Porsche's factory racing program that develops new talent. The 20-year-old is contesting the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland series with FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport, and last weekend, he raced the series round at the Nürburgring. Starting 15th on the grid, de Phillippi would cross the line in ninth out of 32 finishers.
Courtesy of his in-car camera, you can watch his entire first lap in the video below - there's no music added, just engine whine during nine minutes of crests, turns, bumpy straights and that wicked Carousel. Enjoy.
