1980 Porsche 911 Targa on 2040-cars
Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
Just email me at: thorathhosler@ukpornstars.net . I originally bought this eurospec 911 in 1991 and fell in love with color, only available in 1970-80, so obviously
very rare. I had it for a few years and sold it to a best friend who is as particular as i am with my cars and it
was always garaged. He sold it back to me four years ago exactly as I had sold it to him, in great shape. After a
year I decided to have my favorite body shop take the car to bare metal and repaint it better than when it was
new, as well replace every strip of molding and rubber on the car. Targa top was redone and is absolutely perfect.
you will never know it was painted but they were not this perfect new. I store the car with about twenty five other
collectible cars and maybe have driven it 1500 miles in the past four years, although it is started and moved
forward and back every couple months, just like all my other cars. As you can see in the pictures the seat are
checkered and very cool. I always had sheep skins on the seats but should have had the vinyl on the sides replaced
as they are very cool looking today, easy to fix as only the side seams are apart along the stitching. Interior is
perfect with no cracks and great door panels. Wheels are great with no curb rash and the tires are like new, Good
Years. It has a Bursch exhaust system that sounds great, not loud. I personally love the eurospec 911 SC's, they
always seem tighter and definitely more horsepower. Obviously I love this car and will miss it, but new direction
in collecting and selling all my Porsches. I also have listed a 1989 911 speedster but that is crazy money and
personally I like this car better.

Porsche Macan to debut at LA Auto Show
Wed, 29 May 2013Auto Express reports Porsche will unveil the upcoming Macan SUV at this year's LA Auto Show. Citing an unnamed "insider," AE says that the five-door will bow with engines, suspension and interior architecture that will help differentiate it from its Audi Q5 chassis mate. Big shocker there. We've been hearing the same line since we first caught word of the Macan back when it was still rolling around under the Cajun name. The report does shed some light on the model's pricing, however. That same insider says the Porsche Macan will carry a price tag of 36,000 pounds.
What does that mean for American buyers? Do some quick math based on current conversion rates, and average UK and US prices, and we come up with a sticker of roughly $42,000 here in the land of the free. That fits in line with the rest of the company's stable, with the larger Cayenne starting at $49,600.
Still, we'll wait for more concrete word before jumping behind the AE report wholeheartedly. The 2013 LA Auto Show gets going in late November.
RM Sotheby's Turbollection features exotics from the '80s and '90s
Wed, Aug 14 2024If you have even a passing interest in cars, there's little doubt you know a thing or two about Porsche, whether the topic centers around a classic name like 911 or the more mainstream Cayenne and Macan crossovers. Bugatti? Sure, most people know about the historic French builder of world-class, record-setting automobiles, though admittedly the EB110 we're about to show you probably wouldn't be the first to come to mind. Fewer are likely familiar with the likes of Vector Aeromotive, a tiny American company with history that dates back to the 1980s. And we'd wager that most have never even heard of the likes of Isdera and Cizeta. Brush up on your history, (super wealthy car collecting) folks. RM Sotheby's has an exciting array of cars coming up for auction during the Monterey Car Week festivities on California. Among all the expected Ferrari, Lamborghini and Shelby classics potential buyers can wade through, the so-called Turbollection collection features much rarer oddities.
Exotic cars caught on video racing on neighborhood streets in Beverly Hills
Thu, Sep 17 2015A pair of supercars caught on camera racing around a quiet Beverly Hills neighborhood last week has residents fearing for their safety. The video shows a white Porsche 911 and a yellow Ferrari LaFerrari as they clipped parked cars and blew through stop signs while residents of the upscale community watched in horror. Freelance cameraman Jacob Rogers shot the video of the supercar shenanigans. He later confronted a man outside the house where the Ferrari eventually parked. He asked the man if he cared that he was endangering people's lives. The man became combative and claimed he had diplomatic immunity. "He told me verbatim, 'I could have you killed and get away with it,'" Rogers told NBC Los Angeles. "I told him, 'the press is allowed to be here on the sidewalk on a public street.' He said, '(Expletive) America' and threw a cigarette at me." The Ferrari's plates are from the oil-rich country of Qatar. The race ended with the Ferrari pulling into the driveway of a $45,000-per-month rental home, its engine compartment smoking. Police can be seen arriving in the neighborhood. Los Angeles police are currently investigating the incident. Even though the LaFerrari was still smoking when police arrived they haven't filed charges because no officer witnessed the illegal activities. When police approached the owner of the vehicle he denied doing anything illegal and again claimed diplomatic immunity. Police told NBC they are in contact with the State Department about the man's diplomatic status and the legality of the cars in the neighborhood. Beverly Hills isn't the only swanky zip code plague by hotshot supercar owners. Some of the most expensive homes in London can be found In the Knightsbridge neighborhood - and some of the most expensive cars as well. This summer, the local council of Knightsbridge and nearby Chelsea began exploring a Public Space Protection Order that would fine drivers who rev their engines, drag race on residential streets or blare music, according to Reuters UK.
