Time has come to let go of the project we have been putting off for too long. The 1969 Porche 911T had been a great driver up to late 1980's and was parked for an extended time. The actual milage is 4,590 as shown in the attached photo's as it has always been a seldom used driver. Dad become ill and passed away several years ago and we have decided to sell the car.
The car is complete and currently is not running. The motor turns over by hand and rather than take a chance on damaging anything, we have not tried to start it recently. Last time it was ran was about 1988 .Mechanically everything worked fine when it was parked with no issues, the ac and everything worked. Dad had taken the tank out to clean out the fuel and was not fully re-installed after the clean out, and its missing the belt to the AC. The body is very solid, doors close perfect, all glass is fine, interior is in great condition with one small crack in the dash. It has always been stored inside our garage, with a cover. We placed condensation traps inside and the car is really clean. Everything on the car is completely orginal, and as it was made back in 1969. Does have air conditining, as well as an 8 track player. headliner, seats, carpets, and body are in excellant shape. The paint is a litte faded. Considering how long it has been sitting I would expect the brakes, and all systems need to be gone through. It does have 6 carburators, 4 speed, and a clear title. The car is in St. Louis, MO and the buyer is responsible for freight after payment has been cleared. Thanks for looking and ask any questions you have or special pictures you woudl like added.

Porsche Macan teaser reveals unique quad-LEDs
Fri, 11 Oct 2013In truth, all-but-undisguised prototypes for the upcoming Porsche Macan compact crossover have been spotted galavanting all around the globe for some time now, but even the least-camouflaged examples have been caught wearing eyepatches covering their headlights and taillights. A dark new teaser image from Porsche clues us in to why that is - the baby Cayenne is getting unique quad-LED peepers up front.
Porsche has been hinting at lighting innovations in its production cars through recent concept reveals, including the stunning Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo showcar from last year's Paris Motor Show. The wagonized Panamera also featured four-point LED arrays up front, as well is in the rear, so it seems likely that this lighting will become a Porsche design signature going forward.
Powerpoint slides leaked from a recent dealer meeting suggest the Macan S will arrive packing a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, while the Macan Turbo will boast a 3.6-liter force-fed unit, with both models receiving seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearboxes. Pricing is expected to range from $52,000 for the S model to $75,000 for the Turbo.
Porsche Cayman S and Caterham 7 go head to head on the drag strip
Fri, 27 Jun 2014We recently saw the standard Porsche Cayman go up against a Subaru WRX STI in a one-mile drag race with surprising results. Apparently, Evo had a similar idea of evaluating the Cayman's quickness. However, it opted for the more powerful S model and chose a flyweight Caterham Roadsport 140 as the challenger. Will the results of this battle be as close at the end of the kilometer-long (0.62-mile) drag?
Neither of these are cars you'd usually associate with drag racing, but they are nearly evenly matched. Evo selected them based on power-to-weight ratio, with the Caterham offering a scant 140 horsepower in a lithe 1,213-pound package. The Porsche is a quite svelte 2,910 pounds but has 325 hp to haul it around.
Of course, power-to-weight ratio isn't everything. There are a ton of other variables like aerodynamics and gearing that play a huge role, as well. Can the little Caterham's weight advantage overcome the better aero and additional power of the Porsche? Scroll down watch the video and find out.
Why you must buy an air-cooled Porsche 911 now
Fri, 14 Feb 2014"Because" might be a good response to our headline, but as a vintage (purists might call 'proper') Porsche 911 is hardly cheap, we suspect you'll need a better explanation than that. Enter Drive editor Mike Spinelli.
Spinelli sits down with Zac Moseley and Mick Prichinello from Classic Car Club Manhattan to first explain why the market for old, air-cooled 911s has gotten so hot over the past few years, and to discuss if it's a bubble that's about to burst. Following that, this video is really is just three guys sitting around talking about old Porsches for 35 minutes. Which, you know, we're pretty onboard with.
