This is an amazing 1967 porsche 911S coupe , California car , Light Ivory #6604 with red interior. matching number rebuilt engine and trans . The paint is old and faded, light Ivory a little worn, but original color . The body is very solid as well as the bottom (floors) , even factory under seal and paint on bottom still good, no rust ever. This is one of the first 911 S cars , was built is 1966 ( less than 475 made), It is # 305345S car and has the thin deco strips on the bumpers and still has the aluminum dash trim. Interior is all original , we removed it all and cleaned it up and reinstalled it , but had to have autos international re-do the front seats as original with the Pepita fabric and dash . I found this car stored in a barn in Woodland California , where it had been for over 20 years, was an estate sale. We towed it back to my shop , cleaned it up ,purged the fuel system, changed the oil, plugs and got it running. Sense the engine was leaking oil and smoking, we decided to remove the engine ( top & bottom) and trans and rebuild them both as well as the weber carbs 40IDS . The engine has all new bearings, std crank , Mahle pistons and cylinders, new chains ramps , valve guides gaskets seals and more. We went through the brake system too, yes it has all vented rotors and larger alum calipers in front, Konis all around . The 4 1/2 in fuchs are long gone , now has 6x15 real fuchs wheels . The car does have a tool kit, spare and a jack , but no paperwork. I'm a porsche mechanic for over 40 years and yes I can verify this is a very solid California car with 69,000 miles. The car runs and drives great , no oil leaks , smoke or rust. If you have any questions feel free to ask or call 1-707-559-5119 , ALL questions or inspections need to be done before bidding and make sure you have or arranged the money before bidding. This is an Ebay auction so it AS IS with no warranty , but make no mistake this is a great solid car. I have clear Califonia pink slip ( title) with current reg.

1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS takes center stage with Petrolicious
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Today, one of the most exciting track toys available is the Porsche 911 GT3. Its forbearer, though, was an altogether different beast that was every bit as exciting. Yes, we're talking about the old 911 Carrera RS that blessed the early 1970s. With a mere 1,580 cars built, meant specifically to satisfy the FIA's homologation requirements, the RS is one rare pre-Malaise era cars.
Complete with a 2.7-liter flat-six engine, this RS of Mark Haddawy is one of the earlier examples of the breed (later cars received a larger, 3.0-liter engine). Still, it can scamper to 60 miles per hour in a very respectable 5.6 seconds and will happily hit 150 mph in a straight line. Sporting Porsche's iconic duckbill rear spoiler, the equally iconic Fuchs wheels, as well as slew of options, as Haddawy points out, each of the nearly 1,600 RS models is its own unique iteration on the Porsche performance formula.
Take a look below for the latest video from the crew at Petrolicious.
Porsche Cayman GT4 spotted at the N?rburgring
Tue, 13 May 2014It was just the other day that we first caught wind of Porsche's plans to build a GT4 version of the Cayman, and now we're already looking at spy shots of the vehicle in question undergoing testing at - where else? - the Nürburgring.
With more aggressive front-end aero, a GT3-style air vent ahead of the front hood, a large wing at the back, and spindly alloys packed with over-sized brakes at each corner, this Cayman is clearly more extreme than even the range-topping GTS. The rear diffuser and central exhaust tips look about the same as those you'd find at the back of the Cayman GTS, though.
What we can't see, of course, is what Porsche has slotted in under the rear glass, how it's upgraded the interior and how much weight it's stripped out of the thing to get it down to fighting weight, but you can bet it'll come with a substantial power bump and a stripped-out interior with racing buckets and little else to open the gap between it and the GTS... and close the gap to the 911 GT3 which it will join as the baby brother in Porsche's performance-focused lineup. Race Recap: 2013 Petit Le Mans draws curtain on the ALMS [spoilers]
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The 16th Petit Le Mans Powered By Mazda, in the final year of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón, was run on Saturday. Even though many of this year's championships had already been decided, the last ALMS race ever would be a 10-hour, 1,000-mile slog around Road Atlanta to get names in the record books and decide a few series trophies.
Since some of you will only get around to your TIVOs (or Fox Sports coverage) today, you should stop reading now if you don't want to know who did what...
