My 1965 Porsche 911 coupe is a very early model # 300-370 and has 67000 miles on it and, has been in my collection for 24 years. Always been garaged and well maintained. New carpet and paint this year. Also new oil lines and return tubes. The Zenith triple carbs have been overhauled recently and a new electric fuel pump installed. The motor has good compression and runs strong. Transmission has been replaced with a newer model ( THE ORIGINAL ONE GOES W/ THE CAR). Chrome wheels, hub caps w/ painted emblems and original seat belts stamped 1965 all in excellent condition.The car has been undercoated its whole life.

Watch Carrera Cup driver Connor de Phillippi's first lap of the N"urburgring
Thu, 23 May 2013American race driver Connor de Phillippi was recently added to the roster of Porsche Juniors, the arm of Porsche's factory racing program that develops new talent. The 20-year-old is contesting the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland series with FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport, and last weekend, he raced the series round at the Nürburgring. Starting 15th on the grid, de Phillippi would cross the line in ninth out of 32 finishers.
Courtesy of his in-car camera, you can watch his entire first lap in the video below - there's no music added, just engine whine during nine minutes of crests, turns, bumpy straights and that wicked Carousel. Enjoy.

It seems everyone is celebrating anniversaries this year: it's Aston's hundredth, Lamborghini's fiftieth, Ford Mustang's fiftieth, Chevy Corvette's sixtieth - and Tesla just turned ten or something. It's been a little out of hand, frankly, all these forced marketing festivities, but if we had to pick one milestone to really celebrate hard and party all night, the Porsche 911 would be at the top of our list.
Get ready for a major 911 blowout bash at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. It was on September 12 back in 1963 at this very show where Porsche unveiled its "901" painted in a rather boring shade of beige. Though drably finished, the car caused a worldwide frenzy in the budding German sports car sphere.
