Outside: Lapis Blue Metallic Leather Seats - Graphite Grey Transmission: Tiptronic CLEAN Title. Low Mileage - 83900 Miles!! I rarely drive it. Just sits in the garage all day. Everything works. Paint: 10/10, professionally detailed. Interior: 9/10 (1 scratch (1 inch) on the back of recliner of passenger seat) Maintenance Completed Recently: Brand New Rear Tires Front Tires are still excellent. All 4 brake pads are NEW. 2 rear rotors are NEW. Alternator replaced. Comes with sunroof for extra enjoyment when cruising. Notable Flaws (DO NOT REQUIRE FIXING): 1. Car has minor leak. Mechanic said this is a common issue among these models. It costs $750 to fix. I've chosen not to fix it because the leak is minor, and I drive it only weekends. 2. The cup holders don't pop out sometimes. 3. 1 scratch (1 inch) on the back of recliner of passenger seat. 4. Some scuff marks on the front headlight covers. |

Porsche drivers escape this horrific VIR crash unscathed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013There is no doubting the fact that it takes nerves of steel to be a racecar driver, but the same can also be said for motorsports photographers. Case in point: The American Le Mans Series Oak Tree Grand Prix at the Virginia International Raceway where two Porsche 911 racecars crash hard into the tire barrier, but the dedicated cameraman stays with the shot - diving away only at the last second just as the battered No. 31 car (shown above) comes to rest atop the tire barriers just feet from where he was standing.
The crash occurred when the two Porsches charged hard into a corner. Judging by the video, the white No. 48 car appears to not see the orange No. 31 and the two cars make contact, skidding off track hitting the tire barriers at a high rate of speed. Both drivers walked away from the frightening crash, but the video - posted below - shows just how bad things could have been. Hopefully the close call will serve as a lesson for the woman standing in the track marshal's post who has her back to the racing as the two cars barrel directly toward her.

Porsche testing new 911 GTS
Wed, 28 May 2014Porsche may have one more vehicle in its stable with the GTS moniker, if these spy shots are any indication. They show off the presumed 911 GTS lapping the track - the model meant to slide in under the GT3 to be a bit more driver-friendly but still very fast alternative to a stock Carrera.
At first glance, it might look like any other 911, but the devil is in the details. The most obvious among the differences are two centrally mounted exhaust outlets, rather than the ones closer to the corners on most of the current models. They also aren't perfectly in the center like the GT3. The taillights are also somewhat thicker than the current ones, and the rear decklid is split into three exposed sections.
This is the third time we've seen the presumed GTS. The first was as a coupe late last year. Then it showed up again in March testing in convertible form. Although, that version also sported fender vents at the rear.
