1963Porsche 356S t-6 B super coupe, body 212425, engine 703205 super, Ivory with red interior. I am selling this car in order to finish another project. The car has had new floor pans, longitudinals and battery box replaced. Any rust was cut out and replaced with appropriate reproduction stamped panels. I purchased the car 85% through restoration, The engine has been rebuilt to stock specifications using Mahle 1600cc pistons and the correct super heads and rocker gear, maybe 1000 miles of use. Rebuilt Original Zenith carburetors allow the car to idle smoothly at 600 RPM, and exellerate strong. The transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is good as well. The braking system has been completely rebuilt with a dual master cylinder, all new lines, rebuilt wheel cylinders, new brakes and lots of lining left on the drums. The front end has had new king and link pins and has been aligned. The car does not leave a spot of oil on the ground after use. The tires are good on original 4.5" steel rims. The chrome is good driver quality with some blemishes. All of the lights work except a few in the instrument cluster. The vinyl interior is in very nice condition with some small scuffs. The headliner is new and tight. The paint is bright. known flaws are one hood hinge is not locking up, occasionally the left blinker does not blink. This car can be driven and enjoyed on a daily basis. It is not a concourse quality restoration, my reserve reflects that, but a car that turns heads everywhere it goes and will allow it's owner to enjoy the Porsche experience. The car is available at any time for inspection.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS looks wicked, this way comes
Thu, Dec 11 2014Those who didn't think Porsche went extreme enough with the latest 911 GT3 likely won't be disappointed when the more focused GT3 RS arrives. And as you can see from these latest spy shots, it looks like it's speeding right around the corner. Tipped to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this coming March, the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is shaping up to be an enthusiast's dream - and with the prospect of a GT2 in doubt, could be the most hardcore Elfen in the range. Instead of the 3.8-liter flat-six in the current GT3, the new RS will pick up where the previous limited-edition GT3 RS 4.0 left off, with four naturally aspirated liters of unadulterated boxer power channeling a good 520 horses to the rear wheels. That will be a significant increase over the existing 475-hp GT3 and will match the 911 Turbo for output (if not the 560-hp Turbo S) and without any turbo lag to slow down the action, either. Whether it will keep the GT3's dual-clutch gearbox and four-wheel steering system, or ditch one or both for a more analog approach, remains to be seen, but we're holding out hope. Either way, the modifications to the bodywork ought to make the GT3 RS stand out even further and stay glued to the race track it will call home. Notice the deep front splitter scooping up snowflakes like a shovel, a massive rear wing (which may or may not be the final production version), the Turbo-spec rear end with air intakes ahead of the rear wheels, and a set of awesome-looking gills over the front wheels – all of which you can scope out in the gallery full of spy shots above.
Man arrested for stealing part of Paul Walker Porsche wreck
Fri, 06 Dec 2013Humans are odd creatures. Some of us collect things associated with bad events, particularly when it comes to cars. Your author, for example, has the grille of his wrecked 2004 Mini Cooper S hanging on the wall. As a more extreme example, an 18-year-old Californian is in trouble with the LA police, but not for taking an item from his own car accident. Instead, he has been arrested for stealing from the wreck of the Porsche Carrera GT that killed actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas.
And it wasn't a small piece, either. It was the Carrera GT's carbon-fiber roof panel. Making matters worse is word that the theft happened while the tow truck that was hauling the wrecked Porsche was sitting in traffic. According to the LA Sheriff's Department report, "A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck. The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed." Besides the eyewitnesses, it didn't help that images of the roof panel were later posted on Instagram.
The man, Jameson Witty, was later arrested at his home, where police also found the roof panel. The driver of the car Witty was in when he took the roof panel, meanwhile, is planning on surrendering to the police, according to CNN. It remains unclear if the district attorney's office will charge the two, although if it does, they'll be facing felony grand theft and tampering with evidence.
Porsche becomes first company to rent out Vatican's Sistine Chapel
Fri, 17 Oct 2014We wouldn't go so far as to say God is a Porsche fan, but those in charge of one of the holiest Christian spots on our little blue marble are welcoming the German automaker into one of the religion's most revered and beautiful settings - the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. In so doing, Porsche will reportedly become the first company to rent out the holy hall for a corporate function.
Now, it's not like Pope Francis has signed off on Porsche doing do donuts in a 911 underneath Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam. Instead, the Vatican has rented out the home of the Papal Conclave to the Porsche Travel Club, which will host a classical music concert. The Travel Club organizes events and tours across Europe for Porsche enthusiasts, with the Vatican concert just one part of a tour of Rome.
According to Automotive News Europe, Porsche will sell 40 tickets - at 5,000 euros each ($6,379) - to the event, while the Vatican has confirmed that the Pope will not be in attendance.
