White 1998 Pontiac Sunfire (no Major Issues, Title In Hand) on 2040-cars
Capitol Heights, Maryland, United States
Selling my 98 Sunfire. No major issues, except for no odometer reading, missing gas lid (as seen in picture), and missing trunk bottom (can see spare tire). Bought from a private owner. The odometer is digital, but missing, so I'm not sure of the exact mileage- owner told me it was 115,000 miles when I got it in April. Have the cluster. Got some work done to it (tune up, change plugs, etc.) and runs pretty smooth. Aftermarket CD player included. Will be selling locally, so I reserve the right to take down at any time. If you are local, you (obviously) may come to see/testdrive it. Message me if interested in this, or any other issue. For payment, you could either paypal, or (probably preferably) pay me in person. If you bid, but change your mind after seeing it in person, I will graciously cancel and you won't be obligated to pay (per the nature of this listing). Have the title in hand so once arrangements have been made in person, it will be yours. Thanks for looking!

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.
BMX rider flips for wrecked Detroit football stadium
Fri, Jun 12 2015Detroit is littered with derelict ruins. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. It's a fitting tribute to a once-great venue of suburban Michigan. Check out the footage in this latest clip from Red Bull.
