Hi, up for auction is a 2000 Pontiac sunfire 4 door sedan sold as is.
151000 miles well taken care of barely any rust maybe some spots but nothing major. I bought this at 120000 miles and made many repairs. Runs great it has a 2.2 l about 22 mpg great on gas I think max is 25 mpg. Repairs that were made Alternator, belt, tune up, muffler strap, flex pipe, battery, brakes front and rear, tie rod ends, fuel filler tube, canister vent solenoid and valve, upper and lower trans cooler lines, thermostat upper and lower and heater core hoses, painted hood and roof and part of the side because it was sun faded, tires are around 6/32, fuel filter, air filter, oil changes regularly done 3000, radiator, and I think that's about it. Things it needs, check engine light for an evap leak I smoke tested it and it's coming from on top of the tank probably a vent valve or pump check valve or seal, AC compressor clutch it's sticking AC doesn't work, small coolant leak ever since I replaced the heater hose and upper and lower radiator hose and thermostat it loses a bit of coolant could be the metal lines that weren't cleaned up well enough when rubber hose replaced. General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem
Thu, Feb 13 2014General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. Saturn Vue ignition switch leads to new group of GM recalls totaling 312k
Fri, 08 Aug 2014General Motors has another spate of recalls to announce. This time they cover 312,280 vehicles worldwide, including 269,041 of in the US, in a total of six campaigns. In 2014, the automaker has recalled 29,079,765 vehicles worldwide, with 25,754,356 of those in the US.
The largest among them covers 215,243 units of the Saturn Vue from 2002-2004 model years worldwide, 202,115 in the US. It's possible for the for the key to be removed even when the ignition isn't in the OFF position. The company knows of two crashes and one injury caused by this problem. Dealers are checking the parts and replacing the ignition cylinder and key set, if necessary.
Next is 72,826 models worldwide (48,059 vehicles in the US) of the 2013 Cadillac ATS four-door sedan, 2013 Buick Encore and 2013 Chevy Trax in Canada. It's possible that the for lap belt pretensioner to retract but not to lock, which could increase occupant movement during a crash. Both front, outboard lap belt pretensioners are being replaced, and a stop-sale is in effect on unsold models until the problem is repaired. There are no known crashes or injuries, though.
General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]

These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
