Great dependable transportation for everyday driving (I drive it daily) or long trips (I drove it all over the east coast on vacation (over 4000 miles) and made two other long trips (over 1200 miles each) in it in the last year.)  I'm a retired mechanic and I would drive this car anywhere in the world.  It is pleasant to drive because it has been well maintained.  This is an excellent vehicle compared to others with over 173,000 miles.  Engine runs great!  Transmission shifts great, no slips!  AC blows cold front and rear!  Heat blows hot front and rear!  Parking brake works and holds great on hills!  All gauges work as they should.  It has OnStar Auto Security Car Safety Navigation System!  All the electric stuff works (driver's seat, mirrors, sliding side door, front windows, rear windows, and locks.)  It does not use much oil (no need to top off between changes.)  The seats fold down in case you want to haul lumber or something and they easily come completely out in case you want to haul something bigger.  I can get more in this van than I can get into a small truck, and it stays dry!  Also, none of the windows leak or anything like that.  See my feedback and the pictures and bid with confidence.  PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS!  A $500 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITH PAYPAL IS REQUIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SALE!  REMAINDER OF PAYMENT IS TO BE CASH WHEN VEHICLE IS PICKED UP!  NO REFUNDS! NO RETURNS!  IF VEHICLE IS NOT PICKED UP IN 7 DAYS AND NO OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE I WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND RELIST THE VEHICLE!  (I will accept cashiers check or personal check for balance due, but payment must clear my bank before I release the title or car to buyer or shipper.  I prefer cash in person for balance due.)  I will try to be flexible to be available to meet buyer or shipper.  Inspections are welcome before you buy.   I can't think of anything else....If I do I'll update the listing ASAP.

THIS VEHICLE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY.....I WILL END THIS EARLY WHEN IT SELLS SO DON'T DELAY!

Also included is a cargo net that goes in the back.....I forgot to put it in the car when I took the pictures.

Below is a list of what I have done (or had done.)

Recent Front Wheel Alignment
New Fuel Pump and Filter Assembly
New Battery (Top of the line!)
Fresh Oil/Filter Change

6 car mashups that God never intended

Sat, May 17 2014

In the 2000s, the musical mashup genre saw a peak of popularity with releases like The Grey Album from Danger Mouse that mixed The Beatles and Jay-Z. UK artist James Pursey from Carwow decided to take the same concept of shoehorning two disparate things together but applied the concept to cars. Your opinion on the results will vary with your sense of humor. These creations are either some funny pieces of abstract art or absolute monstrosities that prove good design should be left alone. Likely the best of the bunch is the Lambotomic (pictured above), which combines a Lamborghini Miura and an Ariel Atom. Granted, the Ariel is little more than a skeleton to begin with, and the outcome looks like a slightly stretched Atom with the new nose and tail from one of the most beautiful vehicles ever. This could actually work. Though, not all of the mashups are quite so pleasant. The Porschiac WW RS (pictured right) is absolutely disgusting. It combines a Pontiac Aztek, which isn't a beauty queen to start with, and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Obviously, the 911 is an iconic shape in autonobolia, but that can't save it from the horror of the Aztek. Pursey fits the its nose, wheel, wing, roll cage and stripes onto the Pontiac. The outcome: A design that will show up in your nightmares. Check out the gallery for the rest of the mashups, including the Humi (a Humvee and a Mini), Aston Smartin (Aston Martin and Smart), Rangerini (Range Rover and Lamborghini Aventador) and the Mazdafenda (Mazda MX-5 Miata and Land Rover Defender). They might not all be beautiful (or even pretty), but it's fun to imagine these oddball creations actually driving down the road. Burt Reynolds' movie re-creations fetch $379,500 in Vegas

Wed, Oct 3 2018

The recent death of Hollywood legend and automotive enthusiast Burt Reynolds helped drive up the value of four of his former cars from the 1970s and '80s, which sold last weekend at Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas auction for a combined $379,500. Reynolds, who died Sept. 6 at age 82, had offered three Pontiac Trans Ams — two of them re-creations of the cars he drove in "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hooper" and the third from 1984 used to promote his United States Football League team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth was a 1978 Chevrolet R30 pickup truck, styled like the one featured in "Cannonball Run." The "Bandit" re-creation, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that Reynolds ordered to be as "movie-correct" as possible but featuring a custom-built 200-4R automatic transmission, sold for $192,500. The car features a freshly built Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed automatic and featuring all-new Butler Performance parts and air-conditioning components. Reynolds reportedly said this was his favorite car from his films, and it even came with an authentic movie-correct CB radio and CB antenna. The red retro-rocket "Hooper" '78 Firebird, with a 403 cubic-inch V8 and a three-speed automatic, hammered for $88,000. By comparison, a gold 1978 Trans Am also offered at the Las Vegas auction but not connected to Reynolds fetched $27,500. The 1987 Chevy R30 pickup was a re-creation of the Indy Hauler pace truck seen jumping over a moving freight train in "Cannonball Run." It hammered for $49,500. The fourth car never appeared in any of Reynolds' films but is instead the only surviving example of two Trans Ams used to promote the Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct USFL, having been driven out onto the field by Reynolds and his late friend and co-star, Jerry Reed, during opening day one season. It also sold for $49,500. At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in 2016, Reynolds accompanied a 1977 Trans Am used to promote "Bandit" onto the auction block. That car sold for $550,000. NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
