Up for auction today at a low reserve we have a very well preserved original 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix. This is the "J" model with its original drivetrain. Its got the 400/400 and non-posi rear end. Options include the rare hood tach, power bucket seats, fuel warning, speed warning, rear defrost, power windows, corner marker lights up front and no A/C. Car runs and drives great, and is a blast to drive. Most of the paint is original and still, to me at least, is too nice to repaint. It does show signs of wear, some thin spots, but overall is a great cruiser, daily driver. The car is super solid, but does have a couple of small spots you would expect from age (see pictures). All in all, everything on the car works as it should, and the only things that have ever been done, other than normal maintenance stuff, are the tires, vinyl top and radio. I'm sure I've left out some stuff, so if you have questions or want to discuss please call. Car is sold as-is where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. $250 non refundable deposit with in 24 hours of auctions end, and to be paid in full in 7 days. Be sure to check out our other auctions as we currently have a ton of cars and parts for sale, and call Chris with questions 330-261-1815

Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:

Saturn Vue ignition switch leads to new group of GM recalls totaling 312k

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.
