For auction is my 1968 sport lemans wich i was cloning into a gto. Its a bucket seat, console, a/c car. Which makes it perfect for a gto clone. Factory gm rubber nose and ram air hood. Not after market. Still have original hood and chrome bumper with grills too. Car has like new dual exhaust that was put on just a couple years ago before i stop driving it and planned on restoring it to a gto. Motor isnt locked up and it should still run fine. But I left the gas cap off and don't trust the tank anymore. The frame and body is all real nice and wouldnt take to much. Previous owner didnt know what they was doing and rattle canned red primer all over the place. The green paint still showing is the original paint. Dash doesnt have any cracks and console is nice. It will need a trunk pan where the factory mat laid in there for 45 years... There's a couple rust holes the size of a playing card in the front driverside floor. The core support for the radiator has a bad spot and need repaired or replaced, and the tires wont hold air over a month or two. The car is complete with extra parts except for the front lower valance and original pontiac steering wheel. But it's a really cool car and not a bad project at all. Clear title and ready to go. I believe the motor is original 350? It's diffently a pontiac motor, and I believe trans to be 350 turbo. Car is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. Winning bidder is responsable for pick up and delivery of car as is, where is. A non-returnable deposit of $500.00 is due at auction end through paypal. Failer to do so will be turned over to ebay for action and car relisted. All bids with less then a positive 10 feedback will be removed and blocked. Winning bidder has 12 days after auction end to pick up the car and pay remaining balance cash in person. Any questions about the car, please email and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks

There's a 'Knight Rider' movie in development
Mon, Aug 17 2020James Wan, who has directed films from the first "Saw" to "Aquaman," with "Furious 7" in between, and produced even more projects, is producing a new Knight Rider movie according to a report in Deadline. Just in case there's a reader who doesn't know, Knight Rider was one of the seminal trio of iconic-car shows from the 1980s, along with "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Miami Vice." The series lasted 90 episodes that ran from 1982 to 1986, following the crime-fighting exploits of Michael Knight, a man who crusaded for justice after being shot in the face. Billionaire Walton Knight hired Michael to work with the Knight Foundation, where Michael helps develop the Knight Industries Two Thousand, a Pontiac Trans-Am with AI that can talk, drive more than 200 miles per hour, and could teach MI6's Q Branch about gadgetry. Collider described David Hasselhof's Michael Knight as "crimefighter by trade and wearing-a-leather-jacket-with-no-shirt-underneath innovator by hobby." The show made such an impression that there was a series spinoff called "Code of Justice," two TV movies in 1991 and 1994, a convention called KnightCon, and a series reboot on NBC that lasted for one season from 2008 to 2009, as well as stores full of action figures and models and literature, YouTube fan-made trailers and movies, and this wacky German-dubbed short "Knight Rider" film starring Hasselhoff. We don't know anything about the new movie's plot yet, other than that it's set in the present. T.J. Fixman, better known for now as a video game writer who worked on franchises like "Ratchet and Clank" and "Resistance: Fall of Man," has been attached to write, with a mandate to keep "the anti-establishment tone of the original." With matters still early in development there's no telling when the movie will hit theaters, and Wan's probably got his hands busy with the new MacGuyver reboot for CBS, anyway. Now that there's already been a Knight Industries 2000 and 3000, that gives us plenty of time to imagine — in a world where 200-mph hypercars powered by everything sprout like weeds and even Cannonballers are using military-like equipment — what would a Knight Industries Four Thousand possess? And would it be called KIFT? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
