Pontiac G6 G.t. Convertible on 2040-cars
Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States

I am selling my 2007 Pontiac G6 G.T. Convertible. It goes from a hardtop to a convertible with one touch of a button. It has every conceiveable option that you could get from the factory. It has the powerful 3900 V6 with a heavy duty 4 speed transmission. Some of the options are remote start, heated seats, power everything, sirriuus radio, Leather Seats, moonsoon CD radio, etc etc. you name it and the car has it. I am retired and this is my summer car. I am very fussy so It is driven only on sunny days. The only reason I am selling it is I just bought the car of my dreams a corvette convertible because I always wanted one and got a good deal on this one. This car needs nothing. It is a hard top also so it can be driven year around if need be. It is in beautiful condition. It has been pampered to say the least. I change oil every 3000 miles. And It is serviced regularly. I just put on new Goodyears and brakes last summer. We are non smokers so it's never been smoked in either. The miles will be a little more than stated also because I still drive it on Nice Sunny days. Well, I'm sure I forgot many things I wanted to say. (OLD Age) lol. So for any questions please feel free to contact me either thru email or direct at (920) 216-0365. This car is sold AS-IS and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as this vehicle is listed for sale locally as well. Thanks.

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years
Airbag recall adds 85k Pontiac Vibes to tally
Fri, 13 Jun 2014The repairs needed for the faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata continue to expand. Toyota initially announced a recall of 766,300 vehicles equipped with the bad part on June 11 as a followup to a campaign from 2013. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened a preliminary evaluation into five automakers who also used the component in their models. Now, NHTSA has released the official announcement of the latest Toyota recall listing 844,277 affected cars, including the newly added 2003-2004 Pontiac Vibe.
While NHTSA's document didn't include a model-by-model breakdown, General Motors spokesperson Alan Adler estimated to Autoblog that roughly 85,000 Vibes in the US would be covered under the latest recall. Like the rest of the affected models, the airbag inflator could rupture in a crash causing the bag not to work correctly, possibly spraying metal fragments at the occupant.
Toyota spokesperson Cindy Knight told Autoblog that the reason for the disparity between the earlier press release and NHTSA document was that Toyota was continuing to comb through VINs to create a list of affected vehicles. The original number was an estimate of that process at the time. Scroll down to the recall report from NHTSA.
Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
