Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Gta 350 Collector Car Low Miles A Must See on 2040-cars
Hamilton, Ohio, United States
1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA.
You are looking at a beautiful firebird. This car looks as good in person as the pictures a true Collectors car. Low miles. Stored in my indoor climate controlled showroom. Its been in my collection since 2010. So heres the story on the car. I am a dealer and own an exclusive autobody shop. I have Been in the business for 17 years. This is my personal vehicle which I hand picked myself. It had no rust on the car when I bought it. Being the typical picky auto body shop car nut. I gutted the car and stripped all the paint paint down to bare metal . Repainting every piece off the car. Show finish. Better than Factory. There is over $2,000 in high end primers sealers paint and clear on this beast. No corners were cut. Interior is flawless. except for the door panels. They look nice but need replaced to match the rest of this beautiful car. I have many projects and this one got put on the back burner so I never replaced them. (See pics). Mechanically she is solid as the day she was born. Runs and drives like a dream.. Full fresh tune with everything you can possibly do to a engine with out taking it apart. New plugs, wires, coil, battery, alternator, starter, belts, hoses, all new fluids, injectors, brakes, shocks ect............not because it needed it but because im that anal. It will need a muffler. I took the stock muffler off and was going to replace it with a better sounding one and one of the guys threw it away. Absolutly no leaks. I hope i have described it as detailed as possible. I hope i didnt forget anything. I recommend that you come and check it out for yourself. Questions you can email me or call me direct at 513-616-8267 Chris Non paying bidders will be reported and left neg. feed back. Only bid if you are serious and are financially ready. 0 feedback bidders must contact me before bidding or bids will be deleted. Lets keep ebay a fair and safe place to buy and sell. I will not allow item to leave until payment is received. please note. Depending on your state of residence Taxes could be required to be collected at time of sale. A 249.95 document fee will be added to the sale price of the vehicle which includes all documents and 30 day tags . All vehicles are sold AS IS unless other wise noted. I try to accurately describe all vehicles as detailed as possible but as we all know things can be over looked and its recommended that you see all vehicles in person or have the inspected before you bid. I accept money orders, certified checks, or cash. Deposit is required immediately and are non refundable. THANKS & GOOD LUCK .Be sure to add me to your favorites list! |

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod
Fri, 21 Feb 2014There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.
Take a look below for a closer look at this rare and fascinating Oakland.
Junkyard Gem: 2007 Saturn Sky
Sat, Jun 26 2021The Pontiac Division didn't have long to live when the Solstice first appeared in 2005 as a 2006 model, and Saturn's head was inching toward the chopping block at about the same rate. Still, optimism reigned — at least, it did until the global economy fell apart — and so Saturn Dealers got a rebadged version of the Solstice to sell: the Sky. Available for just the 2007 through 2010 model years, slightly more than 34,000 Skies rolled out of showrooms before the doors were nailed shut. Here's one of those rare cars, found in a Denver-area self-service yard a few weeks ago. I've found a handful of discarded Solstices in car graveyards during the past few years, mostly with crash damage. This Sky endured a medium-hard impact in the right front corner, which sent it to this place. The 177-horsepower, 2.4-liter Ecotec still resides under the battered hood. The Sky Redline version had a turbocharged engine rated at 260 horses; we can assume that such an engine would be yanked and purchased by the first junkyard shopper that realized what it was. The base transmission in the Sky was an Aisin five-speed manual, but this car has the optional five-speed automatic. The Sky had its own nose and some different badging, but otherwise didn't differ much from the Solstice. For the South Korean market, the Sky got Daewoo G2X badges and was advertised as the ideal vehicle for high-speed chases through Seoul traffic. The same car went to Europe as the Opel GT. Sadly, GM ran out of money to make right-hand-drive Skies, so we never got to witness Holden or Vauxhall versions. Here's Bob Lutz describing the new Sky. Lutz really hated car names molded into plastic bumper covers, so he takes great care here to describe the genuine glued-on emblems. Related Video:
