2002 PONTAIC TRANS AM RAM AIR WS6,,, RARE, INCREDABLE LOW MILES, 12k VERY RARE CAR AND EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION!!!! Car looks basically Brand New. Shows hardly any sign of wear or usage. No missing parts. No dents or dings. No rips or tears on the leather. 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the WS6 Performance Package that comes with the Ram Air Hood. Only 12K original THIS STILL HAS THE FACTORY PLASTIC ON THE CARPETS ALL OF IT!!! miles and the car is completely stock (well I did install a K&N air filter, O'ya and still have the original factory filter), has never been raced, smoked in, and has never been driven in the snow. Top of the line Trans Am in a very rare color and comes with the factory optional 6 Speed Hurst shifter. 1 owner and has been garaged it's whole life, Maintenance has been kept up to date by me I have used nothing but synthetic for the oil changes. Has every option that I could order from the factory, this was like one of the very last Trans AM's produced and the last year. I just took it out of long term storage, and may drive this a bit before for the end of the sale. :) I can promise you that you won't find another Trans Am in such Excellent shape with such low mileage and in such a rare color. Clean title in hand along with the owner's manual and the original window sticker. Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.

GM recalls 61k more vehicles in three campaigns
Sun, 05 Oct 2014Following a stop-delivery order for its new midsize trucks and a rash of recent recalls, General Motors is issuing three more campaigns covering 60,575 vehicles in North America with 57,182 of them in the US. As of October 1, the automaker has issued a total of 74 recalls (see the ridiculously long chart to the right) this year covering 26,495,070 units in the US.
The largest campaign covers 46,873 examples in the US of the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle imported from Australia. It's possible for the driver's knee to hit the key and make it move from the "Run" to "ACC" position while driving. GM says its Holden division is developing a fixed-blade key that's supposed to fix the problem by only allowing it to rotate toward the "On" position. There has been one crash caused by this fault but no injuries or fatalities.
The second recall is for 10,005 units of the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V because "the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat." This can cause a flange to melt and allow the pump to leak fuel. GM specifies that the remedy for the CTS-V is replacing the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, but it doesn't specify how the STS-V is being repaired.
GM repairing 40,500 Pontiac Vibes as part of Toyota airbag recall
Wed, 09 Apr 2014General Motors has confirmed to Autoblog that the Pontiac Vibe is included in Toyota's just-announced recall action. The Vibe and the Toyota Matrix share a large number of parts, including the affected cable to the airbag.
"About 40,500 Pontiac Vibes from the 2009-2010 model years are included in the Toyota recall. Toyota designed and engineered the Vibe for Pontiac. GM will service customers with these vehicles when Toyota makes the parts available," said GM recall spokesperson Alan Adler to Autoblog in an email.
The recall covers 1.3 million Toyota units in the US, including 2009-2010 Corolla, Matrix and Tacoma, the 2008-2010 Highlander, the 2006-2008 Rav4 and 2006-2010 Yaris, plus the addition of the 2009-2010 Vibe. The models all have their airbag module attached via a spiral electrical cable. The connections on this cable can be damaged when turning the steering wheel. Once broken, the airbag deactivates and the airbag warning light comes on. Toyota has an improved part, but it's still making preparations to begin repairs. It will begin notifying owners soon.
