The car runs good, the brakes recently went out, it was the brake booster that went bad, I replaced the booster and master cylinder, but have not bled the system out. So the brakes need bled but in order to bleed them the wheel cylinders will need to be replaced being the bleeder screws are broke off. The car will drive and stop, but the stopping part is not so good! Once the brakes are completed the car is in driving condition. This vehicle is in by no means perfect shape, it can be an every day driver but needs interior and body work. The seats need refinished, and there is no carpet, the trim pieces for the t tops is missing. the body is in decent shape but has some dents, dings and minor rust. The inner wheel wells could use to be replaced as well. They are rusted out. The motor has 137,000 miles on it but runs very strong, the transmission shifts good as well. As stated above this is a good daily driver, or project car as well.

I am selling the car because I no longer have access to a garage so with that being said I don't have the desire to finish doing what the car needs done to it. The vehicle has been sitting for less than a week, I was driving it until the brakes went out.

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem

General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

When it rains, it pours. General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac.
