Auction starts at one penny and car will be sold to highest bidder.NO RESERVE. This Firebird was send out to National Couch LTD as a brand new vehicle ,converted to convertible and than sold for a lots of $$$ by Pontiac dealers.Conversion was done right by welding new frame to bottom for strength etc .Check out www.firebirdgallery.com/national_coachlot1.htm for more info. I bought this car as a daily driver 6 years ago. After few months I decided to restore it. After complete dissambly sanding priming I painted with single stage Eastwood White.I did a crapy job .After getting rid of orange peel and runs some elements are showing dark shadows.Body needs another coat of paint to make it look great or just keep few feet away :-).Unfortunatelly during that time I hurt my back .6 years and two surgeries later .....I realized that I will not be able to finnish it.
GOOD - Body was streight. Original 301 engine is running great, has perfect compression. All smog and AC equipment is there ( if you decide to go original).Car came loaded PS,PB,PDL,PW,Ptrunk, tilt steering and everything was working before I took it apart.New power steering pump filters etc.Clear SC title in my name.I have new carpet and trunk gasket (included)
BAD-Needs interior and top work.Transmission was rebuild with trans go shift kit worked great but now reverse is not working( 0 miles on rebuild, have no clue what happened). All cabin electical needs reconected and fixed ( everthing worked 100%) Interior, dash was put in just for pics.Don't have original front seats.I bought set of aftermarket still in a box which will include with car.
Please ask questions or come and see the car if you local and would like to place a bid.Good Luck.Reserve right to end this auction at any time. Please serious people only.

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Junkyard Gem: 1987 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon
Tue, Aug 9 2016During the 1960s and 1970s, station wagons based on full-sized Detroit sedans were the default family haulers, and many of those Kingswood Estates and Country Squires and Ambassadors came with unapologetically phony woodgrain-printed exterior paneling and trim. By the late 1980s, however, few were snapping up such wagons, making this '87 Safari that I spotted in a Denver yard an interesting find. Power for this wagon came from a 307-cubic-inch Oldsmobile V8 making 140 horsepower. General Motors used this engine in Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Chevrolets, Pontiacs, and Cadillacs, finally discontinuing production for the 1990 model year. Was the "wood" convincing, even when new? Of course not, but it was a cherished American tradition. Related Video: Featured Gallery 1987 Pontiac Safari station wagon in Colorado junkyard View 18 Photos Auto News Pontiac station wagon
