1973 Pontiac Firebird This Car Is In Great Shape! on 2040-cars
Clinton, Missouri, United States
I am auctioning my 1973 Pontiac Firebird. This car has been in a storage unit for the last 10 years. The car itself is in great shape as you see in the pictures. You really dont find them in this good of condition anymore. The car came from the factory with the straight 6 in it but someone has put the 8 in it 400 block. The car runs and drives. The body of this car is in great shape. Trunk has no rust, frame as no rust, floor boards are in great shape with no rust. The only thing that has rust is right behind the gas tank under the rear bumper which is rusted but I don't understand why because other that than that this car is in great shape. Interior wise the seats are in pretty good condition but as a couple rips. This dash has some one crack and the headliner is in great shape. If needing more information or pictures don't hesitate call or text me at (660)525-3747 Thanks Cody

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
BMX rider flips for wrecked Detroit football stadium
Fri, Jun 12 2015Detroit is littered with derelict ruins. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. It's a fitting tribute to a once-great venue of suburban Michigan. Check out the footage in this latest clip from Red Bull.
