VIDEO PRESENTATION BELOW, ENJOY!
There are not many cars from 1960's that you can just go out and purchase that have been literally untouched since day one. This 1967 Bonneville is just that, over the entire life of this car, it has had 5 owners, only 2 of them actually paid for the car. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this Pontiac Bonneville. We have the entire paper trail of this car from it's original window sticker, to the current owners title and everything in between.
This car is truly a servivor.
Each one of those owners very few miles a year on the vehicle. A car with a paper trail like this one can really be a key factor in knowing your getting a true original, including a PHS report, window sticker and all the copies from when the car was first bought.
The low mileage is mainly due to the fact that the car was stored in the 2nd owners garage from 1983 until 2002. That's when the family actually gave the car to their neighbor and he brought it back to life. All he did was drop the fuel tank, clean the lines, rebuilt the fuel pump and carburetor, and fill her with new fluids.
After being garage kept for the majority of its life, its safe to say this Pontiac is a step above "barn find" in terms opening a garage and seeing this beauty sitting there in all its glory.
The exterior is also a thing of beauty. The four door sedan flows effortlessly from the front bumper to the rear bumper. The vinyl hardtop adds a two tone effect that really grab your attention. The rear fenders are elongated to hang lower than the top of the rear tires for a real interesting look.
The stance shows this car to sit a litter lower to the ground that you may have thought. Pontiac suspension provides a luxury ride perfect for any occasion or road condition.
There are some signs of wear on the body that have accumulated over the years, but that is what's expected on a car this old that has never been restored.
The interior is where you find all the luxuries that make for an awesome driving experience. Complete with power windows, door locks, seats, steering and brakes, the effort it takes to drive this car is close to cars today.
The black bench and rear seat provides plenty of comfort to haul your friends around town.
The 3rd owner kept the Bonneville until 2011 when he sold it to the 4th owner who drove it only 228 miles before putting it on consignment at a dealer in OK. There is also the factory AM/FM radio that allows you to listen to your favorite tunes on those Sunday afternoon drives. All gauges are still in working order, while even the AC can still cool you down even in this warm Texas weather.
This Bonneville will be a welcoming addition to any car collection, or to anyone looking to restore the childhood memories. Feel free to stop by Texas Classic Cars of Dallas for a test drive and experience original engineering at its finest.
The trunk gives you plenty of space, and it comes with a cover and a spare tire for those unexpected emergencies.
1967 can be considered a transition year for the Bonneville model. The previous 389 cu in V8 was replaced with the new 400 cu in V8 engine producing around 330 HP. Also, the previous standard 600 CFM carter square bore four barrel and optional Tri-Power was replaced with the new Quadrajet spread bore carburator delivering 800 CFM.
So, with the addition of more power connected to the factory Turbo Hydramatic transmission means this car can get you from point A to point B as fast as you want. One look under the hood and you can see that this car has once again been untouched with the signs of normal wear and tear over the years.

A Florida biker and his passenger got a nasty surprise when a road rage incident turned ugly on Monday. According to WTSP, Joe Calderazzo was returning from a Veterans Memorial Day motorcycle rally around 5:30 pm with a group of fellow riders. During their ride, the group got entangled with an overly aggressive driver in a Pontiac. Abe Garcia of Tampa watched the silver Pontiac attempt to run the pack of bikers off the road, which started the altercation. The bikers caught up to the Pontiac in stopped traffic, and a shouting match ensued between the bikers and the Pontiac driver. At this point, Garcia pulled out his phone and started recording. The exchange escalated, and suddenly the Pontiac driver floored it, turned hard to the right, and ran over Calderazzo's Harley. The Pontiac mangled the Harley and knocked Calderazzo and his passenger to the ground. The Pontiac then fled the scene. WTSP spoke to Calderazzo as he was on his way to the hospital. "I thought the guy was trying to kill us obviously," said Calderazzo. "You know you don't know what's going through your mind. Is he going to put the car in reverse? Is he going to turn around? Is he going to stop and pull out a gun? You don't know what's going on." The Pontiac driver, a serial traffic offender named Robert Paul Vance, was picked up by police soon after the incident. He is charged with hit-and-run, a moving traffic violation, and aggravated battery. According to two separate reports in The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching investigations into 550,000 Pontiac G6 (pictured above) and 320,000 Honda Odyssey (pictured right) models. The G6 models are all from the 2005 to 2007 model years, while the Odyssey minivans are from the 2003 and 2004 model years. The two NHTSA probes are not related. In the case of the G6, this is an upgrade to an original investigation that started in February after NHTSA received "hundreds of reports" that the brake lights on these cars may malfunction. According to The Detroit News, the lights may come on when the brake pedal is not depressed, and likewise, the brake lights may not illuminate when the pedal has been pushed. General Motors was able to provide NHTSA with a significant number of warranty claims, including 1,100 reports that could potentially relate to this problem, one of which indicates a vehicle crash. For Honda, the NHTSA probe concerns airbags that may deploy unexpectedly. The government agency received six complaints from 2003-04 Odyssey owners saying that the front airbags suddenly went off without a crash. The Detroit News reports that three of the six owners sustained injuries from these incidents. Additionally, NHTSA has received 41 complaints from owners saying the vehicle's airbag warning light had illuminated.
In the grim early days of the Great Recession, the situation at GM's Pontiac Division didn't feel so great but there was some cause for optimism. The Solstice still had a certain glow, the Holden Commodore-based G8 had just arrived, and vehicle shoppers could stride into their local Pontiac showrooms and choose from eight different models bearing the iconic arrowhead badge. Yes, there were still new Torrents and Grand Prix and Vibes for sale in 2008, and of course the Cavalier-twin Sunfire had been replaced by the Cobalt-twin G5 by that time. Here's one of those G5s, found in a Colorado Springs car graveyard. It wasn't long after this car was built that everything went to hell for Pontiac. In April of 2009, GM announced that the Pontiac Division would be "phased out" over the next few years. Just to drive home the point, GM itself filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy five weeks later. GM had already offed Oldsmobile—a marque dating back to 1897, making it nearly 30 years Pontiac's senior—five years earlier, so everybody knew there would be no reprieve in this case. Just to confuse everybody, Pontiac dealers offered a G3-badged Chevy Aveo (aka Daewoo Kalos) to sell alongside the G5 for 2009, but by 2010 there were just two new Pontiac models still standing in the United States: the G6 and the Vibe. Just over 70,000 G5s were sold in the United States during the 2007-2009 model years, making these cars fairly rare. The Cobalt/G5 ignition-switch fiasco of the mid-2010s really hammered their resale value at the time. Sometimes the definition of "Gem" refers to historical value, not the happier kind. Speaking of ignition switches, the key is still in this one. That generally means that a junkyard vehicle is a dealership trade-in or insurance total that couldn't sell at auction. This one is a base model, which listed at $15,675 (about $22,040 in 2023 dollars). The snazzier G5 GT started at $19,850 ($27,911 now) that year. The engine in this car is a 2.2-liter Ecotec four-banger rated at 148 horsepower and 152 pound-feet (the GT got a 2.4 with 171 hp/167 lb-ft). A five-speed manual was standard equipment, but the buyer of this car paid extra for the automatic. GM stuck these little "Mark of Excellence" badges on the fenders of its vehicles starting in 2005, then ditched the idea in 2009. I have vivid memories of this logo from the seatbelt buttons in my parents' 1973 Sportvan Beauville.
