The car has already been painted and partially reassembled. Exterior: I had left 1/4 panel replaced with new AMD 1/4 panel. All the floors are original as is the rest of the body. Car was never a rust bucket to start with. The body is painted in 2010 Challenger Brilliant Black Pearlcoat. Very stunning in the sunlight. Mirrors are also painted. $6,000.00 in the body and paint job alone. Fenders,hood,valances are all painted too just covered up for protection. The hood and decklid are also roadrunner pieces. rear glass was original but pulled and new Butyl tape installed. Included also are new windshield(installed),new complete urethane bushing front end kit w/steering parts(installed),new fuel tank,3/8" fuel line&sending unit, brake lines and clips(installed),new tank tracks & strobe stripe(orange & installed),new Hemi torsion bars(installed),new outside door handles & complete new lock set w/ignition switch(installed),new machine gun exhaust tips(in boxes),Rechomed original bumpers(no rust),nice front grille & headlight bezels w/new roadrunner emblem, nice lower center grille in valance,nice turn signal assemblies in front valance,new hood insulation w/clips,new washer bottle & water shutoff for heater box,new dashcap,white faced guages w/super bright led lighting for dash cluster,ralley guage cluster,new dyna mat sound deadner,nice black door panels & sail panels, new chrome window cranks,new molded black carpet,new trunk divider,new trunk mat,new package tray w/insulation,new headliner w/insulation and sound deadner,new B&M Quicksilver shifter w/shorter stick installed in console,new rocker covers,new speakers,nice bucket seats and rear seat, new seat covers not installed yet but I do have them, they are black w/ orange centers. There may be a few parts I am forgetting but as you see most is here. I have an 8 3/4 rear to go with it has a 3.23 open gear in it. I have a rebuildable 383 engine & a rebuildable 727 transmission to go with car. IF rebuilt 440 and rebuilt TCI trans. are wanted they would be at an ADDITIONAL COST but IS NOT included in price. The 440 has approx.500hp.The engine has 15,000 miles on it but is a very strong runner. It is an internally balanced rotating assembly,steel crank,eagle H-beam rods,.030 forged Lunati pistons(11:1 compression),Comp. cam (.532" lift 294 duration), 850cfm demon carb that has been worked to a 910cfm. Engine has $5500.00 in it and tranny has $1300.00 in it.Completly rebuilt TCI Super Streetfighter Transmission w/TCI's master kit,new TCI Streetfighter torque converter (2400rpm stall). I am willing to negotiaite on price but understand I DO NOT have to Sell so I won't consider any low ballers. Save both our time and please be serious , there is alot of money and time invested. $13,500.00 obo. without 440 engine & TCI trans. SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson.
