1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager (same As Dodge Grand Caravan Or Town & Country on 2040-cars

Year:1998 Mileage:179000
Location:

Reamstown, Pennsylvania, United States

Reamstown, Pennsylvania, United States

Well Worn as is expected with a vehicle of this many miles.
Inspected through 10/14  LOW RESERVE!
Was a fleet van, so has had regular maintenance.
Runs and Drives Great.  Sensor issue with Transmission where it periodically doesn't want to shift out of 2nd.  Does it about once every 3 months, but you just have to pull over shut it off and on, and it doesn't do it again.  Had fixed a couple years ago and  started doing it again, but I have newer vans and don't want to put any more money into this one.  We have used this van as a great back up van for our business over the last two years when other vans were in the shop.  A/C does not work.  Passenger side window control needs a new module(inexpensive and easy replacement).  Ceiling fabric on inside is torn off in some places.
As Far as the exterior, You can see the one decent sized dent on the passenger door.  Other than that just some minor dings, or scratches as expected in a vehicle of this age.  Original Color was Purple and was re-painted white for Fleet Use 5 or 6 years ago.
This Vehicle Has some good life left in it and can be used as is or you can fix the issues it does have fairly easy.
Seller reserves the right to end the auction early, as it is for sale locally as well.  I do not have the flexibility to deliver or travel with vehicle so local pick up only.  Contact me if you would like to inspect the vehicle in person.
Feel Free to Contact me with any questions before you bid.  Bidding is a binding contract.  Full Payment or $300 deposit via Paypal Expected within 48 hours of auction close. Deposit is non-refundable.  Remaining balance due either by paypal before pick up or by Cash at time of pick up.  Sold As-Is, Where Is

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
