You are bidding on a 1967 Plymouth Chrysler VIP. We purchased this vehicle back in 2011 from a Classic Car Dealer that had purchased it from the Original Owner at the 2009 Hershey Car Show. We received this Car with 91,000 miles on it when purchased. This is and has always been a PA Titled 1967 VIP. While the Body Style is 1968 as per the Mopar Vin decoder, title states Number is “1967”. The build sequence number “146354” shows all matching numbers from the “Broadcast Build Sheet”. We have the Original owner’s manual that shows the Owner took possession of this vehicle on 10/26/1967 from Holiday Chrysler Plymouth located in Selinsgrove PA. First service record is documented in this manual.

Over the past 2 years I have done the following repairs that are I have documented. When the car arrived at my home it was not running to my expectations so the following items were replaced as OEM equipment.

·         Distributor & Cap

·         Wires

·         Rotor

·         Ignition Coil

·         Plugs

·         Front & Rear Brakes.

·         Master Cylinder

·         Mastercraft Tires New Installed on 6/22/2012, P225/70R14MC.

·         Brand New Carburetor

·         Fuel Pump

·         Front & Rear KYB Shocks

It is my understanding that the Vinyl Top is still the original top and has never been replaced. I have this Car Registered and have been driving it and I must say it is an eye catching car no matter where I go with it around town. The Paint on this car is amazing. I am to believe that this car had to be repainted but the finish was done by a professional because of its clarity. I feel it must have been painted at least 10 years ago when the original owner still had it. Mechanically the car runs flawless, Top end Heads & Timing Chain has been verified by my Mechanic that it was done at around 70,000 miles. Timing mark on Pulley does not fluctuate or move whatsoever while the timing lite is applied onto the vehicle. While I hate to part with this Car I do have some Financial Obligations that I have made to my Older Daughter whom I am putting through Medical School right now and that takes priority over this vehicle. I welcome anyone to come up to my home to drive & see this very pristine car. I did shoot videos of this car on You Tube when I first purchased it, links are below. Good Luck and please feel free to ask any questions. I have tons of Pictures of this car. Interior is un-touched and still Factory Original. YouTube videos have the original Bias Tires on the car and it did sit lower. The new KYB Shocks were just put on the car two weeks ago and it sits real nice now.

Please Email me for the YouTube Links. In The Video's that I have on YouTube you will see clear pictures of the Engine while is running and I go around the car from top to bottom. I promise you that this is a Real Nice Car and for being un-restored it would be the perfect car to work with. You will not find a cleaner car for sure!

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
