Thank you for your interest in the 1966 Sport Fury.It is a 3 owner car,and we have documentation to prove all info pertaining to the vehicles authenticity.I would like to keep the story short, but brief. The car has been in my friend Gary's ownership for several years, and has been driven on occasion, but stored in a 3 car garage with a cover over the car at all times during non op use. The original owner had the 4 bbl carburetor removed after her original purchase ,and the 2 barrel was installed. The 4 barrel carb, intake, nos choke thermostat, and dual snorkel air cleaner are stored in the trunk. The pictures tell the story of the car.It is an original lifelong Milwaukee Wi. car.It was purchased from North Avenue Plymouth in September of 1966 by the original owner [Frieda Kunkel] Title was issued on 10-4-1966 by the department of motor vehicles in Madison.I have the original title, registration, and the corresponding envelopes post marked/dated to these facts. The car is nut and bolt original original paint, original interior, trunk mat,and bias ply spare tire with unused jack, etc. The car is Saddle Bronze with Black bucket seat, console automatic,am radio, rear defrost,8 3/4 rear differetial, stock 14" steel wheels, and hubcaps, original skirts. All chrome, and stainless trim is in excellent condition. All glass is original excellent condition. Interior is untouched with only minor wear on outsde edge of drivers seat.Nothing modified, cut or altered other than the install of the 2 barrel induction after original sale to Ms.Kunkel in 1966. Very hard to find untouched original examples especially this nice in the upper midwest. The reserve is very fair based on the insured value of the car thru Haggerty collector car insurance. If you would like more information please reply, and I will foward questions to the present owner Gary. Thank you.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]
Mon, 16 Jun 2014
We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
