  This was a New Mexico time capsule with still perfect original glass rubber and door gaskets...no cracking, amazing. The front bumper is a new repro. replacement due to a dent but the rear bumper is original and perfect!, amazing.  Heres whats been done,  A fresh 360ci rebuild (less than 800 miles)  New top end, pistons, rings, valves, lifters, push rods,   timing chain and mild street cam. Bottom has a turned crank, new main bearings, oil pump. Very streetable on regular unleaded. Outside brand new parts are, new alternator, new HEI distributor, water pump, fuel pump, starter, plugs, MIckey Thompson valve covers, premium Edelbrock breathers and a new 650 cfm Edelbrock performer carb.  A recent 727 Torqueflite rebuild with new stainless kickdown linkage. Brand new Summit drive shaft and U-joints. Recent brake jobs all around, new master cylinder. new brakeline and grease fittings when needed. New Everstart battery w/ 2 yr. warranty . New B & M Star shifter. Brand new stainless steel exhaust system, new gas tank, new front end ball joints. Brand new black interior includes period loop carpet, molded dash cap, top quality tailored upholstery front and rear, arm rest pads, new Equus tach and Sunpro triple gauges. Brand new shocks on all four points including Monroe Max Air's on the rear.  New American Racing Outlaw II aluminum wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/As (less than 50 miles on rubber). Torsion bars adjusted and a fresh front end alignment. All floor pans and frame rails are in excellent shape. The outside features a new Sublime paint job (this was the cars factory color) with flat black hood and rear wing (real flat black enamel, not primer)  Flat black graphics. There was absolutely no rust problems on this body before paint. Brand new repro. hood scoops and chrome bezels.    The emergency brake, turn signals, head and tail lights, wipers and brake lights all work great. All door, hood &  trunk hinges & latches work as new. (stainless hood pins).  All glass is in excellent condition with no flaws,  window cranks and rear pop-outs work as new. This car is a blast to drive, very strong motor, shifts, turns and stops as intended with no oil or transmission leaks or over heating. Here is whats wrong... No radio(your option)  horn doesn't work(never got to it).  The tack and gauges are brand new but I never got to hooking them up all hardware and instructions are included with original boxes.

Gas gauges stopped working (I should have changed out with new tank).  I bought a new sending unit and will include with car.  Headliner looks great but has a patch over this car comes with the 4 original steel wheels and the original under dash A.C. vent unit.  1/2 gallon of sublime paint with hardener, Hayne's repair manual, Mopar supply catalogs, electric wiring diagram, and gas tank sanding unit.  The original build sheet that was found when interior was stripped. Remember this car cannot leave before total balance is payed with a secure payment.  This car is sold as is with absolutely no warranty spoken or implied. 'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
