First off, this car is very fun to drive. It run great, stops great, and handles..well, like an old Mopar. I wouldnt hesitate to drive this car anywhere! Now to what makes this car so special. I am the third owner of this car, the second owner was a woman who has owned it since 1977. I have the dealer invoice from when she bought it. She took amazing care of it, drove it only 40k miles in 30+ years. Its wearing its original TX9 paint, Original interior, although the carpet and front seat covers have been replaced. Dash is perfect, not 1 crack. Motor and trans are DEAD stock. new plugs, wires, and a newer exhaust are the only changes. this thing is a time capsule. I bought this car to make into a street bruiser, i soon realized that this car is the most original un-molested car ive personally ever seen. I just cant do it! Its got some door dings, some very minor dents here and there, paint is 40 years old, some rust issues, but its a SURVIVOR! The interior floor is absolutely perfect, the trunk floor needs replaced. There is some rust in the typical E-body areas. The car was kept in a garage its whole life, but it was driven everyday in the Northwest. Im happy to take any pics of the rough spots for serious inquirers, obviously a very easy restoration. the car is 100% complete. Full build sheet, Lots of rare options, packed fender tag, dealer invoice. Black on Black BS23 'CUDA Feel free to call with any questions, 360-471-8173 The car is for sale locally, so dont miss out.
On Jul-17-13 at 23:59:33 PDT, seller added the following information:
I forget to mention that I have the original front bumper guards, front license plate bracket as well. Also, the original 14" wheels and hubcaps will come on the car, not the wheels you see in the pics. like i stated in the description, this car is VERY original. The reserve is realistic, this is an attainable Cuda. Bid to win.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars
Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
