Here we have out of a collectors collection one 1973 Plymouth Barracuda in GREAT condition. This was sold on Ebay back in 2008 for 12,500.00 and now it is worth even more today. Mopar are some of the most sought after cars in history and will continue to be so for many more years to come. Front disc brakes and calipers being replaced right now. Glass pack exhaust for that really mean sound. Aftermarket CD player with decent speakers. 318 engine for the horsepower you need to impress all. This has been garage kept since it was sold in 2008. Here is the original ad from that sale. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CCwQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fcollectorcarpricetracker.com%2Fmedia%2Fauction_data%2F2008%2F7%2F4%2F190234124335%2F190234124335.pdf&ei=P1yaUfb3L8X-4AP34YDwDA&usg=AFQjCNH6yFqN-f6PxABFQCJMQL-jePatKw&sig2=_PgH8DIJEwQzVcEVP3jKeA Just copy and paste into your browser bar to see it.Do not let this one slip through your fingers. Dodge came out with the Challenger just a couple of years ago and they kept the same body style as the original. This is the original!!!! All pictures taken today while the sun was nice and bright. There is a reserve but not the 30k most would expect. Ask any and all questions before bidding. If you have 0 feedback do not bother to bid I will cancel it. No title, no bill of sale from the owner. You will get a dealer bill of sale so you should have no problems registering it in your state. This was last registered in 2005 in the Great state of New York. Garage kept for at least that long. Good luck. This is a numbers matching machine. A great beast car and very good looking. Fast Fast Fast.On May-20-13 at 16:32:02 PDT, seller added the following information:

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]
Mon, 16 Jun 2014
We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
