This is my 1971 Plymouth Cuda. The car is super nice and I have one some trophies with it. I don't have to sell this car but I am curious what it will do. I am doing some remolding on my house and I have two many cars. If any of my others cars sell I won't be selling this one. If you have looked for a 1971 you know they are very hard to find and to have this drivetrain is it is one step from getting a Hemi motor in one. I also want to mention I just opened this account because Ebay has a special on opening another account you can list 6 cars a year and if they sell they won't charge you a selling fee so I thought I would try that. I only mentioned that because my other page I have sold 280 items with 100% feedback so you can feel comfortable if you bid. OK on to the car now. Here is what I know about the car. The car was originally a B5 blue car with with a 340 and a 4 speed. It also had factory Rally Gauges, rally mirrors, rear spoiler, Vinyl Top, Front Disc, Pistol Grip 4 Speed. I have a partial buildsheet on the car the was retreived from the car in a seat but it is only the center section. The fender tag was removed when the car was restored but must have been replaced. I know you can get a new one printed but I just have not done that yet. Not a big deal to me. I was told that the 440 is from a 1967 GTX and that the 6 pack is from a 69 Roadrunner. I assume the transmission is original. I never checked that or the date codes on the motor or 6 pack bcause I just have fun with the car. I was told the car has a new factory grille not a repoped one. I was told the car has no bondo and I seen no signs of that at all. The cars has had new quarters and extensions. I was also told the car had a brand new dash in the car as well. The interior looks new to me also. The paint to me is super nice on this car. It lays very flat and is super shiny. The color on the car is Viper Blue which to my looks awesome with Billboard and Vinyl top. Since I have had the car I added the new side billboard and new flowmaster exhaust that sounds awesome as well. The car is a blast to drive and has a lot of power. The tach is not hooked up. I was told that it was bouncing so the previous owner disconnected it. I think that is the only thing the doesnt work. The car has a nice CD player with a CD changer in the trunk. The Cragar rims are in great condition on the car as well and the tires. The trunk is nice as are the floors and frame etc. The only spot on the car that is noticeable is a small spot on the vinyl top that is dry or has cracked. It is not rust just cracked a little. The rest of the top is very nice. This is just a great car and if you know these cars they are hard to find so that is another reason I don't care if it sells or not. I think I have described this car to the best of my ability. Feel free to come and look at the car but let me know what your budget is so I dont waste my time on any dreamers. If you want to make any offer feel free to but I wont let the reserve be know to later or if my reserve is hit. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.

A winning bid is not giving you the right to try and talk me down in price if you come and pick up the car. I expect the winning bidder to pay the price the car bids up to at the end of the auction to be fair to all other bidders. There are NO REFUNDS what you see and questions answered is my best description of the car. All sales are final. I reserve the right to pull the auction for any reason. Payment of 500.00 is a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due within 24 hours with full payment in 7 days. SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars
Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
