Nissan Titan 5.6 crew cab 4 doors 4 wheel drive

I am the second owner of this Titan, bought it used in 2007 with 12.5k miles on it. Had it for 6 years now and rarely drove it for the last year.
If I have to describe the truck with a very few words, it is strong running truck in fair cosmetic condition, that needs some work.
Here is what you get:

Titan 5.6 crew cab, the very basic edition, see Nissan site for complete specifications. I did add few things, here is the list:
- bedliner (Patriot)
- Running boards
- Thule roof rack.

Just to highlight what I like:
- the 4x4 is great for snow.
- all windows are automatic, including the back one.
- back windows are tinted
- plenty of room at the back sits, and sits fold in two sections giving you tons of cargo if you need it.
- more than 4 feet between wheels in the bed, you can put any 4x8 in the back without hassle
- plenty of power, great acceleration

Resent maintenance and replacements:
- new brakes - rotors, pads and shoes 7/2013 (less than 500 miles on them)
- new battery (DieHard) 9/2012
- Toyo Open Country Tires (all 4) at 50k, think 2011 with plenty of life left on them.
- Oil has been changed meticulously every 3k.
- Nissan replaced the transmission at 35k
- All service and maintenance up to 50k has been performed by Nissan

Condition:
As I said, truck is a strong runner, it has multiple scratched and dings, but all are surface.
I hit the back lid on a tree while open and had a friend of mine fix it, the paint is somehow not that shiny, it is peeling in few spots and there is some rust on edges, otherwise the lid closes and works just fine.
The truck was in a light accident few years ago, had it professionally restored, driver side front fender, light, and bumper replaced. Budd auto body did such an incredible job that you'll never say that something like this happened.
The cupholder under the AC controls is broken.
The AC resistor need to be replaced.
Front driver side tire pressure sensor needs replacement
The exhaust end pipe broke, needs new exhaust ($386-$600+ on ebay)
The original mats will be included - in poor condition.
Upholstery has some stains and driver sit has few small holes, most of them were there when I bought the truck.
Interior has few scratches.

If you can do some of the work yourself you will have a great truck for fraction of the book price.

It is a great truck and I feel bad parting with it, but for the last year I drove it about 1.5k, it is not justified to keep it any longer.

I can arrange a test drive and inspection prior to auction end, will put extra pictures if needed, although I encourage you to check it in person.

All sales are final, no returns. Payment - $500 deposit within 4 hours from auction end by PayPal, the balance - PayPal or bank certified check within 5 days from auction end.
You will receive title and drove the truck away once your payment is cleared.

Listed way below book value! Good Luck!

Next Nissan Titan will get turbocharged diesel V8 from Cummins

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Toyota might be content to eke out an existence in the fullsize pickup market with its lightly refreshed Tundra, but Nissan looks like it'll be a bit more aggressive with its next-generation Titan. The next Titan will make use of a 5.0-liter, turbodiesel V8 from Cummins, the Japanese company announced at the start of its Nissan 360 industry showcase.
Nissan's commitment to a fullsize pickup isn't really open for debate - it made waves back in April when it lured Fred Diaz, CEO of Chrysler's Ram pickup division, down to its Franklin, Tennessee headquarters. But this news of a monster turbodiesel is big. As of this writing, only Ram is set to offer a diesel engine in a non-heavy-duty pickup. Its 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6 will arrive in the Ram 1500 in the not-so-distant future, but that engine will still be a far cry from what's promised with this Cummins mill.
The 5.0-liter V8 is expected to generate well over 500 pound-feet of torque - likely closer to 550, based on the language in the press release - along with over 300 horsepower. Those figures aren't just a shot across the bow of Ford, Chevy, GMC and Ram, they're an opening broadside, meant to demonstrate Nissan's willingness with its next light-duty truck. As Diaz said, "There is no question that the new Titan will turn heads, and with the available Cummins 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel, we expect to win new fans and attract buyers looking for this unique configuration."

Dacia Duster to spawn inexpensive Nissan Terrano, will we get it?

Sat, 08 Jun 2013

When going to overseas auto shows, one can't help but spend an inordinate amount of time eyeballing forbidden automotive fruit. It's often of the seriously rare, criminally powerful and six- or seven-digit variety. But more often than one might think, the genuinely affordable overseas hero makes us swoon, too. So it is with the Dacia/Renault Duster, the cheap-as-chips, hard-wearing utility vehicle. We've often thought that its basic, rugged charms would play well in the US if saddled with a low enough price tag, but we've never seen much of a window for that to actually come true.
But now, Autocar India is reporting that Nissan will flex its alliance with Renault to spin off a Duster of its own, one that exhumes the Terrano nameplate, a moniker once used for overseas versions of the first- and second-generation Pathfinder. The new model will feature unique sheetmetal to give it a familial look, but the interior will be the same, and we expect the same goes for the powertrain, meaning there will be a range of gasoline and diesel four-cylinder engines with both manual and automatic gearboxes and front- or all-wheel drive.
So, does that mean we'll get a Nissan version of the Duster-based Terrano to call our own? Sadly, almost certainly not. Company spokesman Dan Bedore tells Autoblog flatly, "There are no plans to bring this model to the US." Bummer. Even if it isn't ultimately as capable as the larger, long-in-the-tooth Xterra (it's more on par with the now departed Canadian-market X-Trail), we think the Duster's archetypal SUV looks and low cost barrier would win it plenty of fans in our market. Our guess is that redesigning the model to meet US regulations (crash, emissions, lighting, etc.) would be prohibitively expensive, and the Dacia/Renault model is built in some pretty distant facilities - Brazil, India, Romania and Russia among them - making the business case harder still.

Man sells testicle to buy Nissan 370Z

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

We aren't entirely sure what's stranger about this story - that a man actually sold a vital piece of his manhood for a car, or that he did it for a Nissan 370Z. That's not to discredit the trusty Fairlady, a car we generally like, but that if we were to do what Mark Parisi did and sell one of his testicles to science, we'd be asking for a helluva lot more than $35,000.
But Parisi did just that, and announced live on CBS' The Doctors (we really can't make this up) that the sale of his nut would go towards the purchase of a Z. According to our friends Down Under (Australia, get your mind out of the gutter), $35K is the going rate for one slightly used testicle, so if you get nothing else from this story, gentlemen, know that you have $70,000 swinging between your legs.
