PLEASE:  This is my first time selling my car on ebay and would like this to go smoothly.  I have a perfect feedback and would like to keep it that way.  These auctions cost money.  Please bid if you intend on following through with the sale and are willing to send the required deposit.

I have many more pictures of the truck.  I can send you a link.  You will find that the truck is EXTREMELY CLEAN, Shows excellent, great shine, and please pay careful attention to how nice and clean the underneath of the truck is.

This will make an excellent work truck with enough room and seats for your whole crew or family. It seats 6 people.

Excellent for Construction or Landscaping business. It is strong and rugged.

Truck has a CLEAR title, however it has a salvage history very early in its life. It has been fixed. I bought it in around August 2009 (almost 3.5 years ago). I flew to Dallas and drove it home to NC. The title itself that I have is clean with no bad remarks.  I can email a picture of it to you.

The truck looks sharp.  It is the metallic maroon. The interior looks almost brand new. EVEN SMELLS NEW with no odors and no smoking.

The AC and Heat are in excellent working condition. The truck has lots of power. The exhaust has been upgraded with an original factory 2010 exhaust (has much better flow). I have an additional exhaust system (cat-back) which came with the truck that makes the truck sound mean and it will go with the truck should you want it.  A new 2010 factory intake has also been installed which I was told has a much better flow however I don't know if this is indeed true.

AM/FM/CD player works great. The truck looks sharp. It has new genuine Nissan factory wheels and tires. It also has a chrome-like tint on the windows that looks sharp.

It also has chrome running boards. The Titan is a King Cab with suicide doors. The tail gate locks and the lock works perfectly. It has manual windows and locks.

The only thing it needs is a driver's side airbag to be installed. I have bought one and it will be included in the sale. However the airbag cover is installed on the steering wheel which is in excellent condition, not ripped up.

I have a clear NC title ready for transfer. It was inspected and passed inspections in December and won't be due until December of this year. A copy, if it is still in the glove box will be provided for you. Tags are good until December 2013. Any questions, please ask.

EXTRAS!!!!! :

1. I purchased and installed a factory genuine Nissan UtilityTrac System set of rails for installing in the bed.
2. I purchased and installed factory genuine Nissan BED DIVIDER which will go with the truck and slides in the TrueTrac system
3. I purchased and installed factory genuine Nissan BED EXTENDER which will also go with the truck. This also slides in the TrueTrac system. Many people just take off their tail gates and use this. Also very handy for grocery shopping.
4. I purchased and installed factory genuine Nissan Original Equipment Tow Hitch which is part of the optional Big Tow Package.
5. I purchased and installed a genuine Nissan Original Equipment center roof console found in the LE models with map lights that work great.
6. I have an EXTRA cat-back extra exhaust system that is mean sounding. Will also go with the truck if you wish to have it. It has turned down exhaust pipes.
7. I purchased and installed a genuine Nissan Original Equipment optional sun visors that are powered and have vanity mirrors on them.
8. I purchased and installed a genuine Nissan Original Equipment interior center roof console with storage compartment that is found in the high end models.
9. Side mirrors have Genuine Nissan chrome caps.

Suggested retail price (KBB) = $16,760
Private party value (KBB) = $14,085

The above prices are EXCLUDING all extra equipment and upgrades.

My price is much less due to the history and is negotiable.
Again, the title itself is clear and has no bad remarks but does have a salvage history from back in 2005-6 approximately 3 months after it was registered. The history doesn't take anything away from the truck and this NISSAN has not even been broken in yet. Perfect for anything, work or play. Great for a student. Great for a person who needs a truck for his business.

Reason for selling the truck is that we were blessed with our 2nd child and will need a suitable vehicle that my wife is comfortable driving. This is my ONLY reason for selling, otherwise I would be keeping it. I do not get to use this truck much and it was not bought for a work truck or an everyday driving vehicle, rather this is my Play toy. I have another car that I drive regularly and use this for weekends.

No guarantees/warranties expressed nor implied. I will urge and welcome inspections by your mechanic. You are most welcome to bring your mechanic with you.

PAYMENT: CASH IN PERSON or certified ban check and transaction (if you are local/picking up the truck in person) will take place during normal business hours at a bank in front of a notary public and everything will be notarized including a copy of this ad. FCA-Renault merger faces tall odds delivering on cost-cutting promises

Thu, May 30 2019

FRANKFURT/DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Renault promise huge savings from a mega-merger, but such combinations face tall odds because of the industry's long product cycles and problems translating deal blueprints into real world success, industry veterans told Reuters. BMW's 1994 purchase of Rover, and Daimler's 1998 merger with Chrysler both made sense on paper. The companies promised to hike profits by combining vehicle platforms and engine families. Both combinations proved unworkable in reality, and were unwound. Renault and Nissan, which have been in an alliance since 1999 designed to share vehicle components, have only managed to use common vehicle platforms in 35% of Nissan's products despite an original target of 70%, according to Morgan Stanley. FCA and Renault have raised the stakes for themselves by ruling out plant closures. That increases the pressure to achieve more than $5 billion in promised annual savings from pooling procurement and research investments. The two companies have yet to fill in many of the blanks in the merger plan put forward by Fiat Chrysler. Renault's board is expected to act soon to accept the proposal, but that would lead only to a memorandum of understanding to pursue detailed operational and financial plans. A final deal and the legal combination of the two companies could take months to complete if all goes well. Pressure to cut automotive pollution is driving the latest round of consolidation. Automakers are looking at multibillion-dollar bills to develop electric and hybrid cars and cleaner internal combustion engines. Fiat Chrysler and Renault are betting they can design common electric vehicle systems, then sell more of them through their respective brands and dealer networks, cutting the cost per car. Developing all-new electric vehicles can bring more opportunities to share costs from the outset, industry experts said. "With the emergence of connected, autonomous, electric and shared vehicles, carmakers face immediate investments, so new opportunities for sharing costs have emerged," said Elmar Kades, managing director at Alix Partners. However, most electric vehicles lose money. This is a challenge for city car brands in Europe in particular. Both Renault and Fiat rely heavily on this segment for sales.

Leopard walks in, shuts down a Mercedes-Benz plant

Tue, Mar 29 2022

In recent months the auto industry has seen plant closures due to a host of reasons — parts shortages, recalls, natural disasters, and even a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. Now it can add to that list the threat of an invading leopard. A Mercedes-Benz factory in Pune, India, was forced to halt production for a few hours when a wayward jungle cat wandered into the facility, When the 3-year-old male leopard was spotted inside the manufacturing unit of the factory, it caused a panic among workers, according to a release by rescue organization Wildlife SOS discovered by The Drive. The site was shut down for about six hours as a Wildlife SOS rapid response team from the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre and the State Forest Department safely removed the curious cat. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The team's veterinary officers Dr. Nikhil Bangar and Dr. Shubham Patil carried out the rescue operation, tranquilizing the feline and loading it into a wildlife carrier. The rescue took about four hours, and Wildlife SOS reports that neither the creature nor any workers sustained injuries. The leopard was released back into the wild.  No one is quite sure how it got onto the factory grounds, but Wildlife SOS says that the forests in the surrounding region have one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. It's also suffering from rapid deforestation. That encroachment by humans has led to a decrease in the leopard's natural prey as well, so wildlife experts think it may have been looking for food.  The Mercedes plant builds the Maybach S 560, S-Class, E-Class Long Wheelbase, C-Class, CLA, GLA, GLE and GLS for the Indian market.  We have a different theory. We believe that the cat was seeking to set the record straight with Mercedes. When the S 65 AMG debuted, Mercedes claimed it featured the world's first Road Surface Scan technology to detect pavement undulations and adjust suspension damping accordingly. The only problem with that claim: Nissan had the technology some 30 years earlier in several mid-80s models, including the Maxima and Japan's version of the Infiniti M30, which was called — you guessed it — the Leopard.

World's cheapest Nissan Leaf costs just $9,460

Fri, Sep 5 2014

If you thought electric vehicles were expensive, head on over to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. There, you can buy a Nissan Leaf for the amazingly low price of just 7,450 euros ($9,460 US). Or, if a practical delivery van is more your style, check out the Nissan e-NV200 Visia Flex, which is absurdly priced at 4,950 euros ($6,400). Now, you might be thinking, those prices don't seem right, and this isn't a case of Nissan slashing the price like someone in I Know What You Did Last Summer. Instead, these deals are already and unsurprisingly being called the "world's best EV incentives." The great deals - available to businesses only – are due to generous national and local government incentives that are designed to take dirty vehicles off the road. Things like scrappage incentives (worth 2,500 euros, or $3,240) and free parking for EVs as well as home charger incentives stack up until they bring the price of a new EV down to the levels listed above. Jordi Vila, the managing director for Nissan Netherlands, told Automotive World that, "By scrapping older vehicles and incentivising buyers to replace them with zero-emission electric vehicles, Rotterdam is taking a huge step in improving air quality." As great as these deals are, it turns out that most car buyers are unaware of EV incentives. This is too bad, since there is a short but interesting history of tremendous deals on plug-in vehicles, like the $10,000 discount on the Mitsubishi i-MiEV (or the $69/month lease on that thing). For pure "dollars off" value, though, nothing beats the $30,000 in total incentives that maybe be available in some Japanese prefectures for hydrogen vehicles, which might expand all the way to free H2 cars.
