2005 Nissan Sentra S Sedan 4-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Worcester, Massachusetts, United States
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS: 2005 NISSAN SENTRA. 129,+++ K MILES. HAS ALL POWER OPTIONS EXCEPT SUNROOF AND POWER SEAT. RUNS VERY WELL. JUST HAD IT SERVICED. INCLUDED: NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, OIL & FILTER CHANGE. TIRE ROTATION. NEW BUSHING FOR CONTROL ARM. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. IT WAS A CODE FOR A SWIRL VALVE(?) THEY PERFORMED A FUEL INJECTION CLEANING SERVICE AND FREED THE SWIRL VALVE ASSEMBLY, AS IT WAS STICKY. I HAVE PUT ROUGHLY 300+/- MILES ON IT SINCE THE SERVICE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS STAYED OUT. GETS EXCELLENT GAS MPG. TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SERVICED AND SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD. FRONT TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE THE REAR TIRES ARE ABOUT HALF WORN. HAS A NICE RADIO FROM THE FACTORY WITH A MODEST SUBWOOFER IN THE TRUNK. THE NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS CAR IS THE PAINT. THERE ARE MANY SCRATCHES ON THE SURFACE. THE CAR LOOKS GOOD FROM FAR. BUT IS FAR FROM GOOD. THE ONLY RUST ON THE VEHICLE IS JUST ABOVE THE WINDSHIELD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OR WHY? IT DOES NOT LEAK. IT JUST IS THERE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE SEND ME AN E-MAIL AND I WILL RESPOND ASAP. THANK YOU! |

Alpine unveils N36 LMP2 car that will race in 24 Hours of Le Mans
Mon, 25 Mar 2013This is the Alpine LMP2 competitor you'll see contesting European endurance races this year, including The 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. Parent company Renault showed off the N36 racer at its atelier in Paris, the blue and orange a switch from the yellow, black and white livery Alpine wore last time it was seen in Le Mans way back in 1978 when it won the race.
The team will be run by Signatech-Nissan and the chassis will be powered by a Nissan engine. Nelson Panciatici and Pierre Ragues will contest World Endurance Championship rounds throughout the year, they'll be joined by endurance and IndyCar veteran Tristan Gommendy for Le Mans and Paul-Loup Chatin as the team's reserve driver.
The Alpine N36 will get into its first test this week at Paul Ricard, then experience its first racing miles at the European Le Mans Series round at Silverstone on April 13. The press release below has the full scoop, the photos above have the past and present in high-res glory.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder: June 2013
Thu, 18 Jul 2013When we say that our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has been busy, we mean it. Want proof? In the past month, the big, brown Nissan was only idle enough for us to take it in for its 11,500-mile routine service and to shoot a couple of new photos of the long-termer in Detroit.
Most recently, the Pathfinder spent a few weeks in the hands of AOL Autos' executive editor Sharon Carty, who used the three-row CUV to haul her entire family from Detroit to New Jersey and back... twice. That's a pretty serious amount of miles, but it gave Sharon a really solid look into how the vehicle holds up for the needs of a family with kids of different ages.
Nissan lowers price of seven models for better search results
Sun, 05 May 2013Intent on not eliminating itself from consideration, and adapting to the way consumers research new car purchases, Nissan has announced price discounts now in effect, indefinitely, on seven models: the Altima, Armada, Juke, Maxima, Murano, Rogue and Sentra. It was found that Nissan's price points fell outside the competitive pool when prospective buyers searched for cars based on maximum price.
The price cuts vary and depend on the equipment spec, but they range from several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars; the MSRP of the Altima drops by $580, the Sentra by $730, the Armada by $4,400. Discounts on the Murano alone range from $1,460 to $2,410. Under orders from CEO Carlos Ghosn the brand is working to raise its US market share to ten percent by 2016, from 7.9 percent currently - which includes Infiniti - and appears to be optimizing its placement every step of the way to do so.
