2002 Nissan Quest Se Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.3l on 2040-cars
Columbia, Missouri, United States
PROS:
We've had this van for about 2 years, all electronics minus the dvd player work, cold AC, it has two LCD monitors, sliding doors on both sides and just made a 450 mile round trip, has three new tires. Also it has had a new battery and new sparkplugs, wires and cap and rotor in the last year. CONS: The tailgate is dented a bit but still function perfectly, the check engine light has been on the entire time we've owned it (O2 sensor code) and i think because of this it runs better after it warms up. It starts and idles fine and once its warmed up it runs and drives flawlessly, but if you try to drive it whiles its cold it'll die. After the engine temp is normal or after its been driven at any point in the day its fine, so we just lived with it. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this van anywhere in its current state and so delivery is available within 500 miles or so. (for delivery we'd need to work out distance for gas money and a return bus or train ticket back for me) Payment is due within 24 house of auction close, and must be $200 via paypal, and the balance in cash. Also the van is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early, but the reserve is set WAY WAY under the KBB value, so bid away!! PS If you have any other questions email me via ebay, or call me (Eric) at 573-823-2132. |

Nissan Altima and Sentra to get Murano-inspired design redo
Tue, 07 Oct 2014The Nissan Altima and Sentra sedans are both very competent, economical, comfortable and well-equipped ways of getting from A to B. They're also both decidedly boring to look at, which is not a good trait in their increasingly style-driven segments.
To rectify this, Nissan is planning design overhauls for its mainstream, with the Sentra adopting the sportier, Euro-style looks of the Pulsar, according to The Car Connection. While that (sadly) won't mean the five-door Pulsar will come to the US market, fitting the European stylings to the Sentra should go a long way towards broadening the car's appeal.
That parcel of information comes from Nissan design boss Shiro Nakamura, who spoke to The Car Connection at last week's Paris Motor Show.
Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
But first, let's cover the PCotY segment. Here's the list of cars brought to the comparison test: Audi R8 V10 Plus; BMW 435i; BMW M6 Competition Package; Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51; Ferrari F12 Berlinetta; Ford Fiesta ST; Jaguar F-Type V8 S; Jaguar XFR-S; Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model Wagon; Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series; Mini John Cooper Works GP; Nissan GT-R Track Edition; and Porsche Cayman S.
To find out the results of the comparison, head over to Road & Track's website or check the press release below, where you'll also find the magazine's top-rated vehicles in eight categories. Want more? Head over to the 2013 PCotY hub. But before you do that, take a stab at guessing the winner of PCotY (we'll give you one hint: it isn't a Porsche).
Nissan rowed the Note ashore [w/video]
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Normally we wouldn't suggest trying to float your car on water, but Nissan has made some modifications to turn its new Versa Note hatchback into a makeshift rowing shell.
Nissan replaced the car's rear seats with a sliding rear rowing seat, modified the doors to open wider at 90 degrees and fitted a pair of oars. Most importantly, they put the whole thing on a floating platform to keep it from sinking into Eton Dorney Lake, the site of the 2012 Olympic rowing competitions in England (where the car is simply known as the Nissan Note).
Then they invited medal-winning competitive rowers Helen Glover, Sophie Hosking and Polly Swann to come along and row the thing, making use of the around-view monitor system to see where they were going. All in all it may not be quite as cool as the boats which Fiat made out of the 500 or Mini made out of its convertible, but it's still enough to float our boat. Check it out in the video clip and press release below and the image gallery above.
