2007 Nissan Pathfinder SE -- 97,*** miles -- 2WD --
Need to sell ASAP. Paint has 1 chip on rear wheel arch, 2 small dings on hood. Garage kept, 2WD with towing package, 4.0 V6, Automatic, 3rd row seating, black sport cloth interior in perfect condition, Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires, and JVC MP3/CD/Bluetooth head unit with HD & Satellite Radio capabilities, have factory head unit also. NO SUNROOF. We bought this Pathfinder June 2010 and have loved every second of it. It hasn't given us any problems, new Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires installed May of 2012. Was checked out at Action Nissan (Nashville) 5 months ago and it check out in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Michigan is one of those places where we can sub-divide the seasons into good and bad portions, with each producing a noticeable shift. The week prior to my time in the 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo, it was 65 to 70 degrees and sunny, all week long. Anyone care to guess what the following week was like?
Windy, cold and damp weather typified my week in the Z, with temps hovering around 55 degrees and several days of showers. Yes, I got the first week of the bad part of fall. The Z was hardly happy during its time with me, but we both persevered, and I made a point of sprinting out to the garage anytime the ground seemed remotely dry enough to test this striking two-seater. That enthusiasm waned quickly, though, as the week wore on.
By all accounts, the Z is a car that I should like. It's an uncompromising sports car, but as I discovered during my travels, sometimes a little compromise is welcome, and living with a car like the Z - particularly the angrier, Nismo-tuned model - quickly becomes a case of too much of a good thing.
Nissan will restore Craigslist Maxima, display at headquarters [w/video]
Sat, 08 Feb 2014Nissan showed that it had a great sense of humor when it bought Luke Aker's beat-up 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE for $1,400 back in December based solely on the quality of his tongue-in-cheek sales video.
Aker's Maxima had been thoroughly driven. It needed a strap to keep its hood closed, had front end damage, a missing turn signal and shredded leather seats. Of course, like Aker said in his ad, the car was still "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission." How could Nissan resist?
After buying the car, Nissan teamed up with MotorAuthority to decide what to do with it. The winning idea was to restore the car to its proper condition and display it at Nissan North America headquarters in Franklin, TN, with Aker's video playing nearby. According to MotorAuthority, the car has finally made it there, and its rebirth will begin soon. Nissan is not sure when the car will go on display.
Nissan buys jalopy Maxima after seeing filmmaker's epic sales ad
Thu, 19 Dec 2013When Luke Akers wanted to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE - yes, the one seen above that needs a ratchet strap to keep the front end from bursting with joy - the Florida filmmaker turned on his cameras and yelled "Quiet on set!" The result is a one-minute videographic homage to mankind's monuments, narrated with all the intensity of a BBC documentary to sell a 17-year-old sports sedan that comes "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission."
Just like the car in question, the ad did its job: Nissan bought the Maxima from Akers and the company donated another $1,000 to his charity of choice.
