For sale is used 2002 White Nissan Pathfinder LE in exceptionally excellent neat condition and perfect mechanism with an actual mileage of 158,609. Vehicle power options i.e. power windows, power seat, cruise control and power lock are all in good working condition. The leather seats are clean. The air-condition is chilling perfectly.Vehicle is from a smoke free & pet free home.There is an airbag light that pops up on the dashboard once in a while, but passed inspection as can been seen from attached picture with sticker. There is also a minor dent on the hood towards the position of the front Nissan grail. The 6CD changer player is stocked with a cd plate, hence can't play at the moment and I don't have time to fix. The wheel spanner and Jack is handy, while there is no spare tire. There are minor wear/ scratches on the body, which is barely noticeable except on closer look. Fri, 07 Jun 2013Despite the snow-capped photos you see here, our long-term Pathfinder has been the subject of some proper pre-summer lovin' here in metro Detroit (we're working on a new gallery). Now that the warm weather has hit Michigan, many of our staffers have eagerly grabbed the keys to our big, brown Nissan for road trips all over the place. And the Pathfinder has indeed proven itself to be quite the worthy long-distance hauler, as editors John Neff and Seyth Miersma have already experienced.
This time around, a couple of our colleagues from AOL Autos put hundreds of miles on our trusty Nissan. And while everyone agrees that the Pathfinder is a solid vehicle for the task of road tripping, there are a couple of specific pros and cons that have been mentioned on several occasions.
Next Nissan GT-R to take cues from GT-R LM Nismo Le Mans entry
Fri, 06 Jun 2014For those wondering why Nissan named its coming Le Mans Prototype the GT-R LM Nismo, colliding the two worlds of sports car and prototype racing, an article in Autocar might have the answer. The deeper union is explained by saying that the next-generation GT-R will use "hybrid technology that will closely align it" with the GT-R LM Nismo.
The point could be further driven home by the fact that the GT-R LM Nismo will begin its FIA endurance racing campaign next year, and the next GT-R is due to debut next year as a 2016 model. The expectation is that it will use a hybrid system possibly dubbed R-Hybrid and perhaps developed by Williams. Just like performance car makers Ferrari and Audi, Nissan wants its racing efforts to pay off with road car technology, company vice president Andy Palmer saying they "want to link technological linkages between future evolutions of the GT-R and evolutions of what we do in LMP1, and the two do go in both directions."
The bigger question is, with the GT-R getting hybrid assistance, will it also get the weight gain that usually comes with it? Enthusiasts would love to see the trend reversed, especially on a car that's already no lightweight.
