Hello and thank you for, viewing, up for auction is a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder V6 4x4. The vehicle has 182,389 miles on it. It starts, runs, and drives strong. The four wheel drive works great and transmission shifts perfectly. I have had the front and rear differential fluids, transmission fluids and filter, fuel filter changed. I have also had new rear shocks, stabilizer links, all the way around . Brand new front rotors and pads, also had rears cleaned and adjusted. When I purchased the vehicle, it had newer front shocks, battery, and MICHELIN tires. As of right now, the tires are at least 50% I have had the oil changed every 3,000 miles and use medium grade gas for the last year. I also ordered new oem floor mats that have not even been used yet, only for the photo shoot. I also ordered the new Clarion cd player, that is Bluetooth hands free capable, with remote, as seen installed. I do have the owners manual, box, and original radio. I only have one key and one key fob for the vehicle. I have a clear title in hand. It is a 2001 and does have some scratched and dings on it, however that doesn't take away from the function of the car. All of the electrical works great and this thing has never not started or left me stranded anywhere. The check engine light came on shortly after I bought it and I have had it scanned, there is a sensor that is bad. I am only selling her because I don't use it anymore, it was great for camping, fishing, and biking. If you have any questions at all, please email at anytime. If you are planning on having the vehicle shipped at your expense, I will be more than happy to assist the carrier of your choice in any way that I can. If paying with a certified or cashiers check, funds will have to clear my bank before the vehicle leaves my property.

Thank You and Happy Bidding!!!

Nissan lowers price of seven models for better search results

Sun, 05 May 2013

Intent on not eliminating itself from consideration, and adapting to the way consumers research new car purchases, Nissan has announced price discounts now in effect, indefinitely, on seven models: the Altima, Armada, Juke, Maxima, Murano, Rogue and Sentra. It was found that Nissan's price points fell outside the competitive pool when prospective buyers searched for cars based on maximum price.
The price cuts vary and depend on the equipment spec, but they range from several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars; the MSRP of the Altima drops by $580, the Sentra by $730, the Armada by $4,400. Discounts on the Murano alone range from $1,460 to $2,410. Under orders from CEO Carlos Ghosn the brand is working to raise its US market share to ten percent by 2016, from 7.9 percent currently - which includes Infiniti - and appears to be optimizing its placement every step of the way to do so.

Nissan 'Ride of Your Life' campaign turns an Altima into a race car [w/video]

Thu, 08 May 2014

Nissan definitely makes some exciting vehicles. The GT-R has received continuous improvements to keep it at the head of the pack in the performance car world. And the Leaf might not bring driving intensity, but its technology is quite impressive. However, there is nothing especially thrilling about the Altima. Granted, it races in the Australian V8 Supercars series, but that car really only shares its basic shape with the production version. So it may see surprising that the Japanese automaker is hoping to inject some drama into its midsize sedan with its new Ride of Your Life ad campaign.
The project is pretty clever. Nissan invited several people to the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs Raceway for a ride in an Altima racecar. After a few laps with a professional driver around the course, they pulled into the pits, and the passengers got a big surprise. We won't spoil what happens for you. You can check it out in the video below.
The concept is somewhat similar to Toyota's thrill ride ads for the Camry last year. Both promotions try to show that that these four-door, family sedans can be more than just boring transportation. Nissan's commercials will begin airing on TV soon. The automaker hopes to excite potential Altima buyers ahead of its upcoming national sales event. Scroll down to watch the video to find out the big secret and read the full release about the campaign.

In his own words: Carlos Ghosn on why EVs rule

Sat, Dec 13 2014

That's a nice little dig at hydrogen fuel cell technology, Mr. Ghosn. The Nissan chief, long a champion and heavy-duty investor of electric-vehicle technology, wrote an essay on his LinkedIn Influencer page on why EVs are the theoretical wave of the future. It's obviously not an unbiased opinion, but he makes his points clearly. Ghosn points out that "refueling" costs per mile for EVs are about 70 percent less than gasoline and more than 60 percent less than hybrids. He cites the rapidly growing network of plug-in vehicle charging stations that are eliminating "range anxiety" with at least some folks, and notes that the fastest growing US plug-in vehicle market is, of all places, Atlanta. Additionally, Ghosn, near the bottom of the post, says that a plug-in vehicle charging station can be deployed for as little as $2,000, while building a hydrogen station costs about $2.5 million. Pretty clever. Nissan's sales numbers appear to give Ghosn's confidence some clout. Through November, sales of the Leaf in the US surged 35 percent from a year earlier to more than 27,000 units. Globally, Nissan says the Leaf's sales are up 20 percent this year. Check out Ghosn's own words below. Zero-Emission Cars: Both Consumers and the Environment Win Last month, the Renault-Nissan Alliance sold its 200,000th zero-emission car. The Nissan LEAF, which we launched four years ago, is by far the top-selling electric vehicle worldwide. Sales are up 20 percent this year. Together with the Renault ZOE and other zero-emission vehicles in our lineup, Renault-Nissan's EVs have been driven about 4 billion kilometers – enough to circle the earth 100,000 times. They are the world's first and most successful mainstream, mass-marketed EVs. Why are more people switching to EVs? The reasons are clear: EVs are convenient: They can be refueled at home or at the office from multiple energy sources, including the increasing amount of clean energy from solar or wind power. Imagine never stopping at a gasoline service station because you wake up to a "full tank" every day. This is one of the top things EV owners enjoy about their cars. EVs are economical: Even with gasoline prices falling, Consumer Reports recently estimated operating costs of a Nissan LEAF in the United States at 3.5 cents a mile, compared with 11.9 cents for a subcompact gasoline car or 8.6 cents for a hybrid. EV owners typically save on their insurance policies, because insurers view EV drivers as a lower risk.
