1995 4 X 4 Nissan Pathfinder on 2040-cars

4 X 4 with hi / lo transfer case. Reverse does not work. I have looked
at several Pathfinders in this year range and it is common. Some have
changed out a relay and fixed it. I have 5 vehicles and need to get rid
of this one. You can replace the transmission, I found one on car monkeys website for 839.99 just for an example.
It runs great, was running hot, changed out thermostat and no more problem. It has 189008 actual miles, I have had it for several years and it is fun to drive. The reverse went out about 2 years ago and I just don't want to spend the money on a vehicle that is only used to go to the hunting camp. The 4 X 4 works perfectly. A/C is cold, heater / defroster works fine. No radio, but there is a CD changer in the back that was there when I bought it, but I have never tested it to see if it works. In case you can't tell from the pictures, there are a few parking lot dings on the driver's door. (The passenger side mirror is missing, the rear door / quarter panel is scraped. I had to dodge a dump truck driving on my side of the road and hit a road sign in the process.) The battery is about 4 years old and holds a charge. I drive it once or twice a week to keep the battery charged and keep the gasoline from going bad. I park so I can drive forward or on an incline so I can let it roll backwards. Ghosn orders Nissan USA to double sales by 2017
Mon, 13 May 2013Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has just one teensy-weensy request for its United States arm: Double your sales by 2017.
"China was not our biggest, I would say, disappointment. It was mainly the United States. We were expecting a strong year in the United States. It didn't happen," Ghosn said, speaking at a conference after announcing Nissan's 2012 fiscal results, Automotive News reports. Because of this, Ghosn has ordered his US executives to iron out the problems that affected new vehicle launches and to strengthen the company's dealer network.
In 2012, Nissan's US sales rose to 1.1 million units - a five-percent increase, and a record, at that. But the company's overall market share fell from 8.2 percent to 7.7 percent, putting the company further away from its goal of having a 10-percent stake overall.

Thu, Oct 6 2016The Renault-Nissan Alliance has been chosen to provide a fleet of electric cars for the UN's COP22 Climate Conference in Marrakesh, Morocco. The group will provide 50 passenger EVs – the Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf, and Nissan e-NV200 – to shuttle delegates to and from conference venues. The Alliance will also provide more than 20 charging stations to support the shuttle fleet. The group provided electric shuttles for the historic COP21 summit in Paris last year. Read more from Renault-Nissan. FCA, Iveco, and gas grid company Snam have signed an agreement to boost natural gas as a cleaner alternative fuel for Italy. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, FCA and Iveco will work together to develop CNG vehicles, while Snam will invest in CNG supply facilities like filling stations to support a growing fleet. Italy leads Europe in the amount of natural gas consumed for transport, with 1 million vehicles currently on the road. Read more at Green Car Congress. LG Chem has officially announced it will build a battery plant in Poland to the tune of about $340 million. Located near Wroclaw in southwestern Poland, the plant is expected to produce 100,000 batteries a year for 200-mile EVs beginning in 2019. The plant could help Poland in its goal to reduce pollution by introducing a million EVs on its roads by 2025. "We will turn the Poland EV battery plant into a mecca of battery production for electric vehicles around the world," says UB Lee, President of LG Chem's Energy Solution Company. Its Bosch Performance Line electric motor provides electric assistance at speeds of up to 15 mph. The battery can be either be removed or remain on the bike for charging, which takes 3.5 hours for a full charge. "BMW aims to be the leading provider of premium mobility services, and our bicycle collection furthers that mission," says BMW Accessory and Lifestyle Manager Eric Riehle. Are you the 2015 Nissan Versa facelift?
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The current-generation Nissan Sunny - the overseas equivalent to the Versa sedan - has been around since 2010, and now it appears that Nissan has some small changes in store for it. Based on these small, dark and grainy photos from Chinese site, Auto Sohu, the Sunny could be set to receive a slight styling refresh.
From what we can tell, the biggest change will be to the headlights with the Sunny getting boomerang-style units similar those on current Nissan sedans in the US. We wouldn't be surprised to see these changes to carry over to our Versa sedan soon. Grille and fascia changes also seem to be in the works, but it's hard to make out any other changes from these images alone.
