Extremely nice one owner 1997 Nissan XE extended cab truck.
This belongs to my niece and she bought it brand new from Grubbs Nissan in Dallas in 1997 and she has been the only driver. She just bought a new truck so we are selling this one to the highest bidder. The mileage has 151000 miles. Brand new radial tires just recently installed. The interior is near perfect. Jump seats in back never used. She always had Nissan keep up the maintenance and this truck has absolutely no issues at all. You can fly to Dallas and we will pick you up at the airport and you can rest assured that this truck will get you home safe and sound. The air conditioner is ice cold. The heater works great as well. Absolutely everything on this truck works just as it is supposed to. This truck drives straight as an arrow down the road and has never been in an accident. There are a few hail dings on the roof and hood (see pics) and a small minor dent on the right side of the tailgate (see pics). The interior is like new. Maybe just barely dirty. The seats are not wore or torn neither is the carpet, just the floor mats are dirty. They are the original mats. Everything on this truck is original. The engine does not use oil and does not leak anything and is clean. This truck is a great truck that gets great gas mileage. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer 1997 Nissan anywhere. Any questions call Robert 214-893-6757 or email through this ad. $500 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of auction closing and the remainder in cash or wire transfer within 7 days. Clear blue Texas title in my niece's name showing the previous owner as Grubbs Nissan from 1997. We do reserve the right to end this auction early as it is for sale locally as well. If you have lots of negative feedback or 0 feedback expect your bids to be cancelled. Thank you. |

Updated Nissan Micra gets fresh look, more tech and 'New' name
Wed, 11 Sep 2013A few months ago, Nissan gave the Micra (which is not for US consumption) a substantial styling update that included new front and rear fascias, and stuffed more technology into the interior, such as USB ports and auxiliary inputs for audio and a new media touchscreen. Though it's still based on the same fourth-generation architecture, Nissan now calls it the New Micra.
Overall the New Micra - also known as March in some markets - looks similar to but more taut than the vehicle that launched in late 2010, thanks to more angular headlights, a new bumper, a sculpted hood and a revised grille with the Nissan logo sitting inside a chrome V, which establishes a stronger link to Nissan's "corporate look." The rear end receives less-drastic changes, such as a new bumper, LED taillamps and a new infill panel at the bottom of the tailgate.
For all of the details on Nissan's five-door city car, take a look at the press release below, and be sure to check out our live gallery from Frankfurt.
Nissan announces 5-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty for commercial vehicles
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Nissan is a relative new-kid when it comes to the commercial van market in the US, with its commercial vehicles division only introducing the first NV vans in February 2011. But Nissan isn't letting its newcomer status keep it from challenging the established players in the segment. The company's latest shot over competitors' bows is announcing that, starting for the 2014 model year, its NV Cargo, NV Passenger and NV200 Compact Cargo vans carry a best-in-class, five-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Their powertrain coverage also gets a 40,000-mile increase to five years/100,000 miles.
The new warranty is a huge leap over adversaries in the segment and should lure in some buyers looking for a longer term of coverage. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ram ProMaster, Ford Transit and Transit Connect all carry a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. The Fords offer five years and 60,000 miles of powertrain coverage, while all of the others increase that to 100,000 miles. Until this announcement, Nissan had the standard thee years of coverage, as well.
The Japanese automaker is clearly hungry to grab a bigger piece of the commercial van pie. Its heavy-duty NV vans have a relatively small 5.3 percent market share in their segment as of May 2014, according to the company's figures, but the NV200 is doing better with a 19.4 percent share. The division as a whole is on the upswing, though, with sales up 88 percent so far in 2014. With just a few years under its belt, Nissan Commercial Vehicles seems unafraid to challenge the status quo in the segment. Let's see how buyers respond. Scroll down to read the full announcement about the new warranty.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder: March 2013
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Over the past few months, we've talked a lot about how our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder functions as a daily-driver, long-hauler and all-weather warrior. And so far, it's earning high praise from most of us for being a well-rounded, pleasant vehicle in these regards. But the vast majority of people who actually go out and buy a Pathfinder will do so because of its people-and-stuff-carrying abilities. Nissan specifically engineered the new Pathfinder to be a softer, more widely appealing crossover than the sort of rugged SUV that it was before, and in doing so, the company is hoping its new CUV will find homes in the garages of many American families.
We needed to get some family impressions of the new Pathfinder, and fast.
Thing is, many of us Autobloggers live the kid-free life - at least that's true of most of us in the Detroit area where the Pathfinder currently resides. We have no doubts that the Pathfinder will get a proper family road trip workout from west coast editor Michael Harley after it shuffles over to the left side of the country, and it might also do a jaunt to North Carolina this summer with executive editor Chris Paukert and his family before it leaves the area, but in the meantime, we needed to get some family impressions of the new Pathfinder, and fast.
