Hi,
Up for sale is my 05 Nissan Maxima. It's a pretty rare one. CLEAN TITLE. It is black on black, premium wheels, front and rear moon roof, ALL heated leather seats, front and rear center consoles, heated steering wheel, power window curtain, 6-speed Manual, OEM HID head lights, rear cargo net equipped, all AUTO power windows and has the navigation system. It is basically fully loaded. Now the car has currently 105K, BUT the engine was just replaced with a clean fresh low mileage baby! I believe it is about 70K. I bought the car with a rod knock, so that is why it has the fresh engine. Now with that being said, it has got a new clutch set installed!!!!! It has got new front and rear main seals. Since the engine was out with the transmission, everything was inspected. With the inspection being performed, a leaky rack and pinon was found, and guess what? It's got a new rack and pinion and alignment. They are the major parts that were replaced. Minor parts were 2 engine mounts (OEM), starter and spark plugs (OEM). The Maxima just got a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change, Nissan power steering fluid change, transmission fluid change and coolant flush. Basically, I did everything you would have to when buying a used car. And of course, I have all the documentation. Everything I said I have on paper and everything I said you can inspect. Yes this car has a few scratches, some curb rashes, but it is very minor and nothing serious. It is not a new car, but it is closer to it than most cars out there. Overall, the Max. is in excellent condition. I am asking $8250 which is actually a very fair price with all that has been done. Any questions or to schedule a day to come look at the car, please call 267 471 7720. My name is Alex and it is a pleasure doing business. Thanks! |

Ghosn: 'We are getting there' on making Nissan Leaf profitable
Thu, Oct 2 2014After 19 months in a row of record sales in the US, the money picture for the Nissan Leaf is steadily improving. To date (well, until the end of September), Nissan has sold 63,944 Leaf EVs in the US and a total of around 140,000 globally. The company produces the electric vehicle in three countries: Japan, the UK and the US and has sold more standard passenger EVs than any other automaker. Add all that up and you get to an EV that is just about to be profitable. "We are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." – Carlos Ghosn At least, it is according to Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Renault-Nissan, who spoke to reporters at that Paris Motor Show this week. "We are getting there [to Leaf profitability]," Ghosn told Automotive News. "Are we amortizing and depreciating everything we have spent? No. But if you look at margin of profit – the direct cost of the car and the revenue of the car – we are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." Automakers are notoriously closemouthed when it comes to sharing specifics about the higher cost of alternative vehicle technologies compared to standard ICE vehicles. Still, statements like this – as well as a knowledge about how long it took Toyota to make money from the Prius and overall industry amortization – show that Nissan could well be sitting pretty when it comes to keeping EVs around for the long term. Given some of the other news we've heard recently, it's got to be nice to have some stability.
2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Michigan is one of those places where we can sub-divide the seasons into good and bad portions, with each producing a noticeable shift. The week prior to my time in the 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo, it was 65 to 70 degrees and sunny, all week long. Anyone care to guess what the following week was like?
Windy, cold and damp weather typified my week in the Z, with temps hovering around 55 degrees and several days of showers. Yes, I got the first week of the bad part of fall. The Z was hardly happy during its time with me, but we both persevered, and I made a point of sprinting out to the garage anytime the ground seemed remotely dry enough to test this striking two-seater. That enthusiasm waned quickly, though, as the week wore on.
By all accounts, the Z is a car that I should like. It's an uncompromising sports car, but as I discovered during my travels, sometimes a little compromise is welcome, and living with a car like the Z - particularly the angrier, Nismo-tuned model - quickly becomes a case of too much of a good thing.
Watch some vintage F1 cars blast up a Japanese mountain road
Mon, Dec 28 2015It's a rare treat to see classic Formula One cars racing anywhere, but watching them on a Japanese mountain road is absolutely sublime. The folks behind Motorhead from Japan took over the toll road's twisting stretch of tarmac to turn this impossible dream into a reality. The unusual opportunity of a closed mountain road would be a waste for only two vehicles, and there were plenty of drivers in amazing machines that wanted to blast up the hill. After the vintage F1 cars got their turn, some drifters in a Nissan GT-R and a Toyota GT86 added some tire smoke to the misty mountain air. A couple more GT-R racecars and some modern sports cars eventually joined them. Before the rain hit, this team had quite a party going on. This video features amazing camera work, but the music unfortunately drowns out the chance to hear these amazing racecars. If watching this leaves you wanting more, Motorhead released a video last year of another group of impressive performance vehicles on the mountain road.
