2004 Nissan Maxima SL 136k miles. This was a fresh trade-in at a local franchise dealership. It is an original Texas vehicle with a clean Texas title. The body is excellent with good black paint with normal rock chips, and elements that the vehicle is subjected to having 136k miles, The leather interior is a taupe color beige/gray and is in very good condition with minor wear on drivers side bolster. It was a non smokers vehicle. Everything is working well as it should. There are NO check engine/transmission lights and NO codes are present. This vehicle has had a complete oil and fluid change including cabin filter. The brakes, belts, lights, etc. have all been checked out and found to be in good working order. It runs, drives, shifts, brakes, excellently. It drives and brakes straight with excellent acceleration. The Pirelli P4 tires are all around 70% tread remaining. This is a very nice Maxima and will make someone very happy. I would feel very confident if I were driving the vehicle across the country tomorrow. The only price you pay is the final auction price. Nissan lowers price of seven models for better search results
Sun, 05 May 2013Intent on not eliminating itself from consideration, and adapting to the way consumers research new car purchases, Nissan has announced price discounts now in effect, indefinitely, on seven models: the Altima, Armada, Juke, Maxima, Murano, Rogue and Sentra. It was found that Nissan's price points fell outside the competitive pool when prospective buyers searched for cars based on maximum price.
The price cuts vary and depend on the equipment spec, but they range from several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars; the MSRP of the Altima drops by $580, the Sentra by $730, the Armada by $4,400. Discounts on the Murano alone range from $1,460 to $2,410. Under orders from CEO Carlos Ghosn the brand is working to raise its US market share to ten percent by 2016, from 7.9 percent currently - which includes Infiniti - and appears to be optimizing its placement every step of the way to do so.
Nissan reveals NP300 Navara pickup, is it the next Frontier? [w/videos] [UPDATE]

After plenty of teasing, Nissan has finally revealed the NP300 Navara pickup, previewing America's next Frontier. Now, before we dive into all the info on this new midsize pickup, it's important to note that we don't quite have the official details on the American-spec truck, so there's quite a bit of information here that might not carry through to the North American market.
Depending on the market, the Navara will offer either a four-cylinder diesel or a four-cylinder gas engine, both of which displace 2.5 liters. Nissan claims both engines have been improved, with the oil-burner producing 188 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. There aren't specific figures on the gas engine, although we should expect that it will see a nice bump from the current Frontier's four-cylinder, which offers up 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. It's not clear if a V6 will be available in the US, as there's no mention of it in the Navara's literature.
