This auction is for a 2004 Nissan Maxima SL with 278,000 Miles. I am selling this in a No Reserve Auction starting at $1 dollar and the highest bidder takes the car. Please come inspect this vehicle or feel free to call me or email me with any questions regarding the car. My name is Troy and my number is 601-955-4040. I will try to list all discrepancies and pluses of the Maxima.
Pros: 1. A/C Blows Cold 2. Tires are in great shape 3. It will sell very Cheap 4. It runs and drives, motor seems to have lots of life 5. Wheels are in good condition 6. Interior is nice but needs good deep cleaning Cons: 1. Driver Side window does not work, also has some wind noise in window, I am assuming since it will not go up all the way 2. Front dam spoiler is damaged (see picture). 3. Crack in the windshield 4. Small Dent on Roof (see picture) 5. Door Dings along the rear passenger door 6. Light Scratches on Rear Bumper 7. Front has lots of rock peck damage on the hood and front of vehicle (see picture) 8. Interior is good but could use deep steam cleaning on carpets 9. Transmission seems to slip after it heats up, it shifts into all gears and drives fine but has a hesitation shifting after it is warmed up. I was told it could make it 5 miles or 50,000 miles. The Maxima from 2004-2006 are notorious for having bad transmissions. I tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my ability. Please feel free to inspect and drive it, I am located at 155 Fairmont Plaza, Pearl, MS 39208. This car will sell to the highest bidder! |

Nissan says next Rogue coming September 10
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The Nissan Rogue has been around since 2007, and after nearly seven years on the market, it's about due for replacement. Which is just what Nissan has announced is coming up next down the pipeline.
The Japanese automaker didn't reveal much to go with this teaser image of the headlight and front fender, saying only that "the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue will push the envelope of CUV design starting on September 10 when it is unveiled." That's the day on which the Frankfurt Motor Show opens its doors for press previews, so it's pretty safe to say that we'll be seeing it at the Messe.
The news follows the spy shots we brought you two weeks ago. Expect the design to follow the lead set forth by the Hi-Cross concept from Geneva last year, with production to take place in Tennessee.
Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet being phased out, no replacement planned
Tue, 15 Apr 2014Over the years, I've been given many nicknames - a few of them have even been repeatable around small children. One such moniker is "Mr. Other Makes," a title given to me because of my predilection for sifting through eBay Motors seeking out automotive misfits and orphans. I've got a soft spot for the dreamers and automakers who take big chances on beancounter-enraging flights of fancy.
I count Nissan among that bunch, because for every safe-as-houses Altima or Sentra that rolls out of its factory gates, the Japanese automaker has often secreted away a little funding for white-space niche vehicles that any sane person wouldn't expect to pencil out. Some, like the Juke, have proven to be massive hits. Others, like the GT-R, have become icons. And then there are models like the Murano CrossCabriolet, a segment-bending mashup the likes of which we haven't seen since the AMC Eagle Sundancer.
Yesterday, upon revealing the new third-generation Murano ahead of its New York Auto Show debut, we reported "the writing appears to be on the wall" for the midsize crossover's novel convertible cousin. It appears we were right. Autoblog can now confirm that the CrossCabriolet will die at the end of this model year, and our source at Nissan tells us unequivocally, "there is no plan for a next-generation Murano CC."
Nissan union wants French to stop meddling with Renault alliance
Thu, Dec 3 2015Nissan is getting some unexpected reinforcements in its ongoing battle with the French government over its involvement in Renault. Its Japanese union, which has traditionally been a very hands-off entity, issued harsh criticism for the French government's attempts to assert control over its alliance partner. According to Bloomberg, this is the first time in 16 years that Nissan's union has weighed on the company's affairs, and it's stating its position on the matter in no uncertain terms. The union called France's attempt at scoring double voting rights within Renault "unacceptable and against the intended spirit of the Alliance." "We support the numerous attempts of Nissan to engage with the French government to find a balanced and constructive solution that will benefit and strengthen the Alliance," the union said in a statement obtained by Reuters. It's unclear what impact the union speaking out will have on the current power struggle between Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn (shown above) and the French government, but we doubt it'll contribute to any quicker of a conclusion.
