You are bidding on a 1996 Nissan Maxima GXE with
a well-maintained 119k miles. The engine
is very strong and peppy with decent gas mileage as you would expect in
the mid-20’s. The transmission shifts
100% through all gears. The oil has just
been changed. A/C blows cold. Power windows function properly. The paint is in great shape. There is a dent in the rear quarter panel (pictured) from a fallen tree branch. The interior has minimal staining and cleans up very well. The seats and carpet are in great shape. Tires have about 60% tread left. Brakes and rotors are also in very good
shape. Issues to address: The power antenna doesn't function properly. The radio works but it the antenna must but engaged manually; The leather boot around the parking break is worn (pictured).; Somehow, somewhere, I lost a hubcap?!?! (pictured) Mechanically, the car is in great shape and will need very little. I don't want to set the expectation that it is perfect but it is in better than average condition. Overall, this is a solid little car with years
of service left for the next owner. This

Nissan touts e-NV200 as electric VIP transport
Tue, Sep 23 2014While the big auto show may be in Paris next month, right now in Hannover, Germany, commercial vehicle manufacturers are peddling their wares to fleet operators. Among them is Nissan, which is not only upgrading its NV400 full-size van with new engines and technology, but also showcasing a rather unusual show car in the form of the e-NV200 VIP Concept. Nissan has outfitted this electric NV200 demonstrator to chauffeur passengers around town in comfort and under electric propulsion. It's decked out in a two-tone metallic blue paint job and an interior upholstered in white leather contrasting with black trim and carpets, although for some reason the Japanese automaker hasn't seen fit to release any interior images. In the back you'll find a 21.5-inch DSP monitor, LED lighting and a pair of "club class" seats (again, no pictures), moved aft-wards to maximize leg room to 26 inches with an extendable footrest, while still allowing for luggage space behind. The driver can even make use of Nissan's new Smart Rear-View mirror to help get passengers as close to the red carpet as possible. European jury picks finalists for 2015 Car of the Year
Tue, Dec 16 2014There are countless Car of the Year awards handed out each year, and naturally, Europe has its own way of doing things. Every year, a panel of jurists representing seven publications in seven different languages and seven different countries get together to name their joint Car of the Year. The panel released a list of 32 candidates back in July, and it has now whittled that list down to seven nominees. The list consists of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, the Citroen C4 Cactus (shown), the Ford Mondeo, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Nissan Qashqai, the Renault Twingo and the Volkswagen Passat. Of those seven, only two are available in the US – those being the Mondeo (sold Stateside as the Fusion) and the C-Class. The Passat is an entirely different model in North America, the Qashqai isn't offered here, Citroen and Renault don't even participate in our market and the BMW 2 Series is represented here only by the completely different coupe and convertible. Expect the one and only recipient of the 2015 Car of the Year award to be announced at the Geneva Motor Show this coming March, and while you're waiting, you can place your guesses for the eventual winner in Comments.
