1995 Nissan Maxima Gle Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Orlando, Florida, United States
I am selling my 1995 GLE Nissan Maxima because I want to purchase a different car and need money. I tried to include as many pictures as possible so you could see this car from all angles. For a 1995 this car is in great shape! The car runs good and has a lot of power. Once in awhile it takes a 2nd crank to start the car. I've come to realize when it gets low on gas that's when this happens. As long as you aren't close to empty it cranks up just fine. I will do my best to list everything about this car...including the good and the bad. So here we GO!! Take into account this car is almost 20 years old! Anything I mention below.....I took pictures of it so you can see what I am talking about. Engine- Has an Injen Cold air intake and it def. gives the car more power. Spark Plugs were changed about 2 years ago. Battery has been replaced, Starter has been replaced. Fuel pump has been replaced. The rest of the engine is stock. Wheels/Brakes- 17" ASA revolution rims with new front tires. New front brake pads. Exterior- Paint is in really good shape overall. There is a scratch on the back right door which I took pictures of so you could see for yourself. There is a little bit of rust on the bottom front left of the car. On the front bumper of the car there is some paint damage. Interior- The interior is in really good shape other than the drivers seat. The leather is old and cracking/flaking off on the drivers seat. Passenger seat is starting to do that but is still in great shape. The back seats are in great shape and still look amazing other than the very top of them which is cracking up do to the Florida sun. Also....the Steering wheel leather could use a new re-wrap. It is in rough shape. Extra's- DVD/CD player with a 7" screen. I have the park brake bypass on it and It plays dvd's even while driving...which I do not recommend by the way! The car has been lowered Tinted Windows 17" ASA Revolution Rims Injen Cold Air Intake Aftermarket Tail Lights Aftermarket Exhaust 10" Kenwood Subwoofer with Bass Controller! (good for when parents are in the car/actually want to talk to the people in your car. ;) Kicker speakers in front doors and Rear speakers ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME! THANKS AND HAPPY BIDDING! |

This tiny 1.5L engine from Nissan makes 400 horsepower
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Back in 2012, Ford packed its tiny 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in a carry-on suitcase, destined for use in the Fiesta here in the US. In June, Nissan will pack its tiny new three-cylinder engine in a 24 Hours of Le Mans racecar. Nissan's don't-call-me-DeltaWing ZEOD RC racecar will still be able to tackle a single lap under full electric power, but the rest of the time it will be powered by the new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
Holding the lightweight engine (at right) is Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani, and he's likely smiling because that 40-kilogram (88-pound) engine packs quite a punch with 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Nissan would like to take a moment to point out this engine's power-to-weight is better than the engines currently used in Formula One racecars. Scroll down for more information on this new race engine, which we'll see in action at Le Mans in June.
Mercedes considering Mexico for CLA production
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Would you buy a Mercedes-Benz if it were made in Mexico? That's what the German outfit is wondering, as it considers localizing production of the its new budget model at a factory operated by Nissan, of which the automaker is a joint-venture partner.
According to a report from Automotive News, moving production of American-spec CLAs from Hungary to Mexico would protect Mercedes from currency fluctuations. "Mexico is the best location for the United States," Daimler Chairman Dieter Zetsche told AN. The CLA is also expected to become the brand's volume model in the US market, which makes North American production a logical move.
In the event that Mercedes approves the plan, Nissan would expand the capabilities at its Aguascalientes, Mexico plant, allowing production to begin in 2018.
Recharge Wrap-up: Detroit Electric teaser video, Nissan Leaf is Good Housekeeping "Tried and Tested"
Mon, Oct 20 2014Detroit Electric has a new teaser video and has updated its brand in preparation of the introduction of the SP:01. The refreshed logo uses a blue and white color palette, and the company has also given its website a new look. The teaser video, which gives a sneak peek at the exterior of the SP:01, shows the car taking form in the midst of an electrical storm. Watch the video or learn more in the press release below. Abengoa is celebrating the grand opening of a commercial scale cellulosic ethanol plant in Hugoton, KS. When running at full scale, the refinery will produce up to 25 million gallons of ethanol a year. The plant will also generate enough electricity to power itself and put some back into the grid. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz was on hand for the dedication, saying, "Every gallon of cellulosic ethanol produced and used to fuel our vehicles reduces the impact of harmful greenhouse gas emissions by greater than 60 percent as compared to conventional gasoline." Learn more at Energy.gov. Good Housekeeping has named the Nissan Leaf one of its "Tried and Tested" vehicles. The magazine called the Leaf SL its top "Roomy Electric" vehicle in its November issue. The magazine's research institute evaluated the EV based on track and road driving, ergonomics and convenience features. Good Housekeeping made note of the car's "impressive" range, but according to Nissan's Fred Diaz, "the real beauty of the Nissan Leaf is that it's roomy and, best of all, fun to drive." It uses things like grains leftover from brewing Budweiser, food waste from a baseball stadium and sewage sludge to produce the gas through anaerobic digestion. The compressed gas can then be used to power cars like Chevrolet's Bi-fuel Impala, which goes on sale later this year. Chevrolet likens the situation to the Delorean time machine in the Back To The Future movie series, which uses garbage to fuel its fusion generator.
