For sale is a 2011 Nissan Leaf SV in great condition. Still has the new car smell and the dealer floor-mats down. The car has only 5,990 miles on it. New the car sold for $32,780. The leaf is 100% electric and has both the express fast charge and the regular charging ports. You can plug it into any household outlet or use an express charging port. The leaf's operating costs are 3.5 cents per mile which are cheaper than the Volt and Prius. This car is garage kept and very well maintained (not that there is much to maintaining a Leaf as the car requires absolutely no oil changes, spark plug replacements, transmission fluid, radiator fluid/hoses changes or replacements). Regardless of whether you buy this car used or new it provides a very nice federal rebate. Plus without ever having to buy gas, you'll notice the savings immediately.

This Nissan Leaf has power everything, keyless entry and ignition (you step on the brake and push a button to start the car), a touch screen center console display with Navigation (tells you where the nearest charging stations are and you can plug your mp3 player/iPod in and control it from the cars digital touchscreen display, Rearview Camera displayed on the screen for reversing, odometer/speedometer/power usage gauge/"Miles remaining until empty" digitally displayed, Cruise Control, Climate Control (the AC and heat are immediately available there is no need to wait for the car to "warm up"), AM/FM/XM radio/AUX/USB Ports. The car gets about 100 miles per charge (90-106 depending on highway/city driving). The car accelerates very quickly and handles extremely well. It's also completely silent and sounds the same off as it does on. Test drives and inspections are welcome. Will ship anywhere at buyers expense. The car is currently under a 60 month warranty with the dealer but this will need to be transferred over to the new owner. I'd be happy to answer any questions, thanks for looking!

Nissan gives a better look at its Vision Gran Turismo concept

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

Just the other day, Nissan released an image showing all of its cars you can drive in Gran Turismo, with one little mystery hiding in the bottom right corner: a draped shape with the date June 10, 2014 - suggesting that it would reveal its Vision Gran Turismo on that date. Well, if you look at that calendar you'll realize that June 10 came and went yesterday, and Nissan didn't reveal the car.
As it turns out, what the folks at Nissan meant when they indicated June 10 was that they'd release the next teaser on that date, and that's what we have here. The teaser hints at one menacing-looking futuristic chunk of virtual performance meta, but "the next chapter" won't be revealed until next week on Monday, June 16. At that point we hope Nissan will actually reveal the full thing and not another teaser, but one way or another the finished product is expected to be present in the flesh (or sheet metal) for the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of the month.

2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid priced from $35,110*

Sat, 26 Oct 2013

Nissan has announced pricing for the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid, which was revealed earlier this year at the 2013 New York Auto Show. Offering two- or all-wheel drive, the hybridized crossover sports a 3.5-liter V6 and a 15-kilowatt electric motor, for a total of 250 system horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. Those numbers match up well with the 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque put out by the V6-powered Pathfinder. Naturally, fuel economy sees a hefty boost, to 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, bumps of five and two mpg, respectively.
The Pathfinder Hybrid is available in three grades. Prices start at $35,100 for an SV and jump to $38,050 for the mid-level SL. A top-flight Platinum, meanwhile, moves the price up to $42,750. Adding all-wheel drive to the package bumps the price up to $1,600 across the range, and keep in mind that these prices don't include Nissan's $860 destination charge. Take a look below for the full press release from Nissan, including detailed pricing charts for both the Hybrid and V6 Pathfinder.

Nissan Canada to end Versa sales with Micra launch

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

There's plenty of space in Canada. In fact, with the second largest land mass of any country in the world, Canada has a population density of just nine people per square mile. But apparently there isn't enough room for more than one cheap Nissan in the True North, Strong and Free.
As you may recall, Nissan Canada recently announced it would begin offering the Micra hatchback with a starting price of less than ten thousand Canadian dollars - significantly less than the nearly $12k it charges for the Versa sedan. As a result, Nissan will reportedly cease offering the Versa sedan in new home of the olympic gold medal for hockey.
Apparently the Versa was a slow seller in Canada, a country in which European tastes tend to prevail - particularly in the Eastern provinces - more than they do in the United States to the south. Nissan evidently hopes that the Micra (a model created principally for the European market) will do better than the American-centric Versa ever did there. According to sales numbers cited by Automotive News, Nissan sold barely more than 12,000 Versa sedans and hatchbacks in Canada last year, but over 117,000 in the United States.
